The best thing I can say about the new Ed’s location id that our waitress was AMAZING!! The quality of the food was disappointing experience at best. Fried shrimp bowl with cheese grits and southern greens was a combination of undercooked grits, subpar greens and tough, overcooked popcorn shrimp that contained more shell than edible meat. Our waitress was the best part of this eating experience but even her excellent customer service could not change the poor quality of the food.

Bri was an amazing server. Me my 6 mo old and parents visited here tonight after Santa pics at bass pro she noticed the envelope and him dressed up and just wanted to see the pictures. She loved how handsome he was. And above that she was a great server, very fast, efficient, and super nice ! I will definitely be eating here again!

What a surprisingly fantastic meal. Service was excellent, our server was so friendly and helpful with recommendations and the manager stopped by and chatted and was taking care of some condensation issues. Everything I tried tasted fantastic. I'm eating my leftover Alfredo now and it's sooooo good. The onion rings and Alabama white sauce were good enough to lick the bowl. Tried a bite of my mom's mahi special and it was great. Cheese fries dipped in that white sauce was also fabulous. And the key lime pie hit the spot. I think the bill was $180 for 4 fill meals, an app, gumbo, 5 cocktails and a few glasses of wine and 1 dessert. Super reasonable prices for the quality of food. We'll definitely be back.

Enjoyed the awesome breakfast and friendly staff and owner!!
Parmesan Encrusted Fish or Fish Almondine with rice and collard greens are just too good. Complementary cole slaw is really a tasty treat. Service staff is "on it".

Was in Town on Buisness and the Hotel I stayed at recommended this Restaurant which was like 1.6 miles away.
The Restaurant inside looks like you're typical Seafood Restaurant. I sat at the Bar, since I was by myself and the Restaurant was crowded and for me to get a table for one would be very selfish of me. Immediately I could tell the Restaurant was understaffed because the Bartender was making drinks from a Bartenders Book. She was explained she was a Server that they asked to be a Bartender for the night. My order consisted of Fried Oysters, Fried Shrimp and Fries. Called the Captains Special on the Menu. Food came quick, no silverware. Waited a while before I could get the attention of the Bartender/Waitress to let her know I needed silverware because her nose was in that Bartenders book, trying to make drinks. 4 Fried Oysters and 4 Fried Shrimp. Was this a Child's plate. Truly looked like it. Expecting my meal to be Really Good Fresh Seafood....it taste like it was Frozen. Needless to say...I took under consideration that they were under staffed and crowded, but this Restaurant needs help. The Tourist probably keep this Restaurant alive. You Go, eat, pay your money and never go back again. My Bill was $45.00 and some change. There was a Longhorn's Steak House near by.... should have went there.

Been in several times and always get the same thing. The skillet oysters. I was craving them and went in sat Oct 26. They were not the same as I've always had them before. This time I got a skillet full of greens. Three pieces of grilled bread on top with oysters placed on the bread that looked like they had been steamed. 6 of them to be exact. No corn bread crumble and and no seasoning to the dish whatsoever. I'm in the business and make it a point not to ever complain. But it was not good at all. The presentation alone was not appealing. 16 dollars for bland greens and six over cooked oysters.

We went to Ed's today. This was the 1st time at the new location. Have to say, we were VERY impressed. Food was excellent. Service was great. Atmosphere was nice. We sat outside. Fred, (owners dad) came to our table more than once to check on us. Asked us how the coleslaw was and brought us more that he whipped up himself he said. He was funny and friendly! What a great dining experience! We will definitely be back and we highly recommend!

The food was good and the staff was pleasant. Service was slow, and chairs were uncomfortable. I felt like I was paying for a brand instead of quality.
