I have eaten here twice since I moved here and the food is AWESOME I highly recommend and the customer service was great but I also I think the place needs music playing to give it a nice lil restaurant vibe and also please please please get sodas this is the first restaurant I've ever been to that only serves Tea and water and also maybe a lil update to the place and that may bring more business thanks and me and my family will be back
Great food, great atmosphere, and great service.
We had fried catfish filets, grilled pork chop, field peas, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese - all outstanding! And the strawberry cake was excellent too!! Great service and great atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend!!

Based on the reviews, Booker's Soul Food Restaurant serves excellent Southern food in a family-style setting. The menu includes great Southern choices like hamburgers that are amazingly tender and thick, fried catfish that is real catfish and well seasoned, fried okra, fish sandwiches, fried pork chops, hamburger steak, gumbo, chicken dressing, field peas, and cornbread. The mashed potatoes are incredible with sour cream and spices, and the Ooey Gooey cake and Banana Pudding are amazing. The Mac n cheese can be a little dry and salty. The food is awesome, very good, and filling. The customer service is great, with staff who are very friendly, nice, and caring. One staff member takes pride in the meals served. The restaurant only serves Tea and water, and some reviewers suggest adding music and sodas. The place is open on Sundays, though hours can be inconsistent. Overall, it is a 10/10 experience that is highly recommended.
