First time here today (from Huntsville) and it was as an amazing experience! Food was hot and delicious! I’ve had stomach surgery so the “small plate” was the perfect size for me! Will be back here for sure!

This was my first time here. It's a little out-of-the- way and has cafeteria style service. You tell the servers what you want, and they put it on your plate. Portions were acceptable. Plenty of vegetarian or vegan selections. Mostly good country type cooking. I had turnip greens, boiled cabbage and okra with stewed tomatoes. My friend had catfish filets and pinto beans. Everything was tasty and without too much salt. Recommended

First time visit (recommended by friends) after being in the area for a visit to Roden’s Surplus. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The food (chicken & dressing, baked ham, several vegetables) was very good. The food is plated for you from the buffet line with drinks being served at your table.The entire place was very clean.Just a very good “country food” place!
