I really wanted to like B Graves — this was my second visit, hoping for a better experience after the first one didn’t go so well. Unfortunately, it still missed the mark.
I ordered the filet (medium) and asked for au poivre, which even cost extra on the menu. When the plate came out, it was overcooked — closer to well-done — and topped with a plain cream sauce with no pepper at all. After I asked about it, the bartender told me it wasn’t a traditional au poivre and came back with a little coarse black pepper sprinkled on top.
For anyone unfamiliar, au poivre literally means “with pepper.” The classic French version is a pepper-crusted steak finished with a brown Cognac-and-peppercorn reduction made from the pan drippings. Nowhere should a basic Alfredo-style cream sauce be called “au poivre.” When you’re charging extra for it, that detail really matters.
What made it worse was the fact that I got my steak about 5 minutes after a lady a few chairs down got hers and she ordered every bit of 10 minutes after I did. When the bartender noticed it she said let me go check on yours. I think that is where it all went wrong and literally just threw mine together. No proper sauce and an over cooked filet. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but my first visit also had a major issue — my wife actually found a piece of plastic from a salad bag in her salad. I understand mistakes happen, but after two tries, the consistency and attention to detail just aren’t where they should be for a place with this reputation and price point.

Great music, nice vibe but clearly the staff was not prepared for guest. They were out of pretty much everything. We had to change our order due to this very reason. The waitress didn’t refill everyone’s beverage and had to be asked to remove used dishes on top of being displeased with our food everyone in our party barely touched our food. Beautiful place but I wouldn’t go back again.

Ate here while passing through. Food, service, atmosphere, all splendid. Had the Chicken Alfredo and enjoyed every bite. Hopefully will pass through again just to enjoy another meal. Very pleased!

Food was extremely over priced and not tasty. I ordered pasta and it came with nothing! No bread, no salad. They even charged us extra for additional bread to go with our appetizer. Never again!

This place has great food. We had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, pasta, strawberry salad, the brownie ala mode and the peanut butter pie. All were on point delicious. With the price. I tucked into everything so fast forgot to take photos. But trust me it looks as great as it taste.

This was our second time here and we both got the same exact meal that we got. The first time we came. He had the mahi-mahi and I had the Mediterranean shrimp pasta. Only thing I'll say is the bruschetta on the menu is not what you expect (the tomatoes on top of toast), it came out more as some type of charcuterie board. That was not my thing so they brought us regular bruschetta which was delicious.
