We stopped by chance here in August and it was a perfect hidden gem. The service is awesome and the food was fantastic. We are headed back through and plan to stop. A must try especially if you like oysters.

Stopped on our way to the beach. We rarely drive past either coming from or going to the beach, this is a must stop.
Today our server was Olivia. She knows how to make a person feel special.

One thing I hate is terrible customer service, it actually felt boarder line racist if I am being honest. When I come to Troy I spend money, and a lot of it so I don't like people with nasty attitudes who are supposed to be in customer service. And that's exactly what I got from the host at Half shell. A young man on Friday evening 6/25/2025 told us they did not have the key lime pies and never gave us a refund, just told us to call on Monday. That was my very first impression of half shell and I can confidently say I will not be returning to get more bad service.

Kenzie served us today, she made sure we have every thing we needed and was so sweet. My boyfriend and mom love the seafood here, im vegetarian and im able to get some items on the menu as well as some great sides. Thank yall :)
