Best mexican food in all of puke county!!
I can not express how impressed I was with this place. I ate here 8/20/26 I was in town for work. I eat Latin American food all the time it’s my favorite this was THE BEST cabana sandwich I have ever had and I have had problably 50+ it was so delicious. So much so im debating driving 2 1/2 hours here this weekend just to explore the menu more. I hope to be back here soon

Morales Tienda Y Taquería in Troy, Alabama, is a hole-in-the-wall type place with an unimpressive, hand-made sign and a small, dingy grocery store appearance. However, the best Mexican food comes from such places. The tacos, including asada and chorizo, are very good, as are the Pastor Torta and Asada Torta. The volcano with carnitas is also recommended. The chicken soup is called the best. Everything is super fresh. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and passionate. It is a small, cute store where meals are cooked fresh while you wait, and it is definitely worth a stop.
