Let me tell y’all… Hannah is by far the best stylist I’ve ever had. I went with a HUGE change on my hair and I was so nervous, but she walked me through it and took time out of her day to allow me to add on a brow wax onto a shampoo/cut/style. She was so kind with walking me through possible styles and was so helpful when I asked for additional layers. She was one of the most down to earth, kind hearted and funny people I’ve ever met and I’m so grateful that Mel’s was recommended to me. I am in LOVE with my new ‘do and have received tons of compliments. Hannah, you’re the best and Mel’s: you guys are awesome! ?

Today was an AWESOME DAY AT MEL’S! I had recently been in for a haircut that didn’t turn out like I would’ve hoped, so Mel called me and told me to come back in so that they could correct it. She paired me with Mary Alice, and Mary Alice is fabulous!!! She gave me a new look, and I am so pleased! I will definitely be back to see Mary Alice for my haircuts. Mel is awesome, too! I gave it three stars because they got us in on such short notice. I honestly think I was expecting a little more for the price I paid, given my daughter was a little impatient, I know many people have good reviews on this place but it just wasn't for me. The staff was friendly, however I just don't feel like we were very important that day. I feel like we were kinda rushed and I felt as though I needed to cut the time with the stylist short and felt like I was getting in the way of other things that were going on. Which is fine we all have those days. Overall I think it's a good place to get your hair done. I love the old wooden vanities they use for each chair. Very interesting decor and pleasing to look at.
