WORST WAFFLE HOUSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I’ve been in Waffle Houses full of drunks, fighting employees, angry customers, full and empty restaurants. I’ve never had this bad of an experience.
1. I sat at the bar. Didn’t get noticed for almost 10mins. Not even a hello. 2. Wasn’t asked if I wanted anything to drink. Just “what you ordering?” 3. No silverware given. Had to ask for that. Guess I gotta eat with my hands or bring my own. 4. Ordered the Delmonico steak. I got half of an overcooked NY Strip instead. I’m not a steak expert, but I’m sure serving a half a steak and calling it something else is not good. (Found out later they were either out or low on the Delmonico’s and the lady on the grill was just using half to keep going. Not smart.) 5. Serving cold toast (the butter didn’t even melt) that’s slightly burnt is never a good thing.
It was Sunday, and I know that’s a busy day, but having an unorganized and uncoordinated staff does more harm than good. I would have been better off eating oatmeal at home. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!

The foid was great, they made a nice crispy waffle for me. The server was so sweet, a southern doll, but distracted by her other duties which left our drinks empty unless we stood up to flag her attention. Once, the cook had to tell her we needed refills, without us saying anything. She did make my tea just right, mostly unsweet with some sweet. And like always, I asked to hold my waffle until I was done with my eggs and cheese grits and she handled it well. Rigjt down to the crispier than normal. Yup, I'm a little persnickerity about my tea and waffle. But WH always accommodates.
Still, it was good food, and to hear her voice just made me feel right at home.

One of the few places doing things the old-fashioned way! Exceptional service, exceptional food, and they all greet you as you walk in! It's horrible to say that at other restaurants, the staff rarely acknowledges you. Thank you, waffle house, for upholding your above average standards.

Located off 231 in Troy, I had a waffle breakfast with bacon. The waffle was large with spread not butter and syrup not maple syrup. Flavor was good. Bacon was overcooked even after requesting not crispy and flavor tasted like grill grease.

I am a Waffle House customer! Friday night's service and food was excellent. Today, I am watching a well-oiled machine at work. Every seat is full, and people are waiting, but the employees are amazing. Those of us at the counter are watching teamwork at its finest.
