Came here today for my birthday, was pretty excited to get the crab cake benedict. We were immediately sat by the host who was great. We then preceded to wait almost 30 minutes for someone to take our order, mind you this place is absolutely empty. A couple is sat down next to us and their drink order is immediately taken and still the waitress walks right past us. Eventually a waiter comes to us and asks if anyone has taken our order and i say “no.” he replies “someone will come out and take your order in moment” and then begins to quickly walk away? to a different table? so i call out” weve been sitting here for quite a while” and he goes “i know…” and still leaves LOL Doesn’t offer to take our drink order?Doesnt offer to bring us water? Brother the place is empty. We walked right out.

We ordered food to go. The shrimp and grits were such a let down. Plain white grits with no flavor with melted cheese on top. The shrimp were just frozen salad shrimp. This is my favorite dish and sadly this was one of the worst versions I’ve ever had. The sauce wasn’t bad and the focaccia that came with it was good.

While the website advertised vegan options, the selection was limited primarily to fruit and potatoes, which did not meet our expectations. My husband's egg white omelet was unfortunately unsatisfactory, both in appearance and taste, described as resembling rubber.

While the pancakes, grits, and potatoes were palatable, they lacked the exceptional quality we had hoped for. Our server was polite and attentive, though the interaction lacked a particularly warm or engaging element.

We did appreciate the complimentary half-order of biscuit beignets offered to first-time customers, a gesture that was a positive aspect of our visit. Overall, however, the meal fell short of our expectations based on the online menu and descriptions. We hope this feedback is helpful in improving your future offerings.

Muffins were stale. French toast was only lightly toasted on one side and mushy on the other side.
4.79 for a coke or tea!!! Potatoes were fried in old grease. This is a Monday ,9:00 very slow day no excuses.

One of the most amazing breakfasts anywhere! From the greeting, the atmosphere, the service, AND the amazing food, hands down a must have!!!! AND it sits on the banks of the River for an amazing view! (….must have the City Grits!!!)
