Authentic hole in the wall staff is always friendly and great amazing tacos

There's limited seating so keep that in mind. I had an order of tacos al pastor w/everything and paired it with a Jarrito (they didn’t have anymore of their aguas frescas, so take that as a good sign). The tacos were good and the prices were fair. Though I can't speak for any other dishes.
Atmosphere was lively, there were a lot of people when I visited (8:30pm on a Friday night). I dined in, but they also offer takeout.

Don't let the outside fool you and make sure you check your directions to get here. It's not only incredibly authentic and genuine but it's pretty much like sitting in this family's kitchen and having them serve you from the window. It's that good and that authentic. We really enjoyed watching this family work together and also preserving their heritage at the same time. The pride in their work and the food they are creating together really comes through with every bite. The prices are absolutely incredible and it's no wonder this place is so popular. If you're looking for the real thing and not some chain, this is your place. There's only one for a reason and it's because this family is putting everything they have into the success of this restaurant in order to bring all of us back time and time again.

I had the daily special Friday. Chicken enchiladas in green sauce with beans and rice. 12 bucks and worth every penny. Friendly service and great food.

Easily the best Mexican Food I've had in Tuscaloosa! Maybe the best I've had in the state! It tastes like home cooking no way around it! I've been around and had my fair share of Mexican Food and if you love it you gotta try this! The staff is great! Not a whole lotta room to sit but it has a warm cozy feeling to it! It has it's own life if you know what I mean! I love the burritos! Way better than Chipotle or Moe's (no offense)! Horchata is okay I've had better but still pretty good! Stop by if you get a chance!

I’ve been to Antojitos Izcali more than 200 times, and maybe three of those visits weren’t for the steak tacos. That should tell you something.
This isn’t Tex-Mex. There’s no chips and salsa on the table. What we call soccer plays in Spanish on the TV, and the menu doesn’t flinch: lengua, cabeza, tripas, all proudly listed beside the beef and chicken.
The steak tacos are simple: hot, tender, and deeply seasoned, tucked into soft tortillas that taste like they came straight off a roadside grill in Michoacán. They’re the best I’ve had anywhere, not just in Tuscaloosa.
It’s tucked into a strip mall next to a gas station, and the parking can be a mess. But none of that matters. The food speaks first, loud and clear.

It’s the most delicious food you can eat in this city. Parking is so treacherous. Exhaust every resource - use every lime, every sauce, all of it is utterly wonderful and demands you take another bite. Don’t even think about ordering chips and salsa; I will teleport to this location instantly and untie your shoelaces. I will put a boot on your car myself if you disrespect this place. It’s reasonably priced, considering it’s the best thing you will eat, staring out onto the open road, wondering what kept you from coming here sooner.
