Dirty, sticky tables & floor, very unfriendly staff, got both of our orders wrong, and the chicken was so dried out and hard we couldn’t even eat it. Threw it all in the trash. A total and complete waste of money, and we left still hungry. One of the very worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.

I order large rib for 15.50 I got dried up babyback ribs no taste then I got the 3 veggie 1 meat the Mac and cheese was like throw up the black eye peas was mushy and horrible the pork chops were not good salty and half cooked that's the most horrible place I have eaten at then want to talk smart when you call and check them I wouldn't be spending another penny there i love the one in Northport anyways food better and the atmosphere then they charges what they want to false advertisement on them menus very upset about my 30.00

I used to like this place but at some point they started ruining some of their food. The greens are sweet with a weird flavor. They always miss at least one side. They stopped giving you cornbread with your greens or peas. They don't give you tarter sauce with your catfish. A small banana pudding is $1.75 and a large is $5.00 When you order the large you just get two smalls and last time it was all whipped topping this time it was all vanilla wafers.

This used to be my favorite BBQ restaurant, but the last three times I have ordered food it has been some of the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. When they’re good, you have the best wings in town. The problem is you’re charging premium wing prices for wings that are shorter than my finger and so old you can’t bite into them. This has happened consistently the last 3 times, but I keep ordering because I love them so much when they are fresh. The ribs have been nothing but gristle the last two times I have ordered, so I stopped ordering them. The standards seem to have dipped and that’s sad because you are so many people’s favorite BBQ spot.

My family has been eating Archibald's BBQ probably since the creation of Archibald's. I have been eating their food for 33 years and it has always been a great experience when eating at either location. I grew up at the one located in Northport back when Mr. George was around. He was an amazing man and he always treated our family like family. Their sauce is what sets them apart from any other BBQ place in town. The ribs and pork have always been our go to. I highly recommend stopping in to eat if you are in town. I also highly recommend letting them cater your next event.

Rushed off the phone calling in a to go order… didn’t ring me up for the first plate I ordered and then was rude upon pick up. Fish is good but probably won’t be back even though it’s my favorite to get fish from??

Food started off ok. Last rib plate was not as good as first 2 visits. Cashier is not a friendly person. Makes atmosphere uncomfortable. The young workers are very courteous!Thank goodness the food is good which makes people keep coming??

This place was recommended to me by my brother. I live in Maryland and was visiting Tuscaloosa to visit my Aunt (103yrs). I wanted some BBQ. This was the worst BBQ joint that I've ever eaten from.1. Fish snack I ordered two one whiting the second catfish more like chicken strips but fish.2. Potato salad/Coleslaw awful in a way that can't be described.3. Banana pudding, no Banana, no vanilla wafers, it was some type of whipped whatever you want to call it.4. Ribs ok I've had better.My grade for this place is a negative zero. Save your money and go to McDonald's.

My granddaughter and I order the catfish plates and my husband order the whitening fish plate it was DELICIOUS the fish and the sides
