We have dined here many times and have had both the French and Italian cuisine. Last night was very good. Our waitress was excellent and both pasta dishes were good. The burrata was also good. I hope this continues as Tuscaloosa deserves consistent excellence for dining.
Terrible food. I'm not sure what happened to the quality and flavor. It looks like the quality has significantly gone down. The main entrees were flavorless, too much butter. We couldn't even finish our food. Not worth the $$$ and time for business or personal dinners.
One of the best brunches I've had in a long time. It was hard to pick between so many great options. Everything everyone got was excellent. And the service was top notch. New go to spot for brunch in Tuscaloosa.
Back in Tuscaloosa for my daughter's graduation. We had brunch at Forte. Everything was delicious! Great ambiance! I will add that making a reservation was not easy for our party of 7. I called Forte and they only took reservations using Open Table. The message from Open Table was for parties of 8 or more you must call the restaurant but I could not make a reservation for 7. I made it for 6 and told her 7 when Forte called 2 days in advance to confirm. She said not a problem she will adjust the reservation when we arrived they had a table set for 6 and said it would be a tight squeeze. All in all it worked out fine but for parties of 7 or more, Forte and Open Table need to have a consistent message.
Very chaotic. Not fine dining. Table next to us was screaming loudly. Not a good celebration for the graduation. Food was just average.
We had the best time celebrating our graduate. You guys got us in, excellent service (our waitress was top notch) and enjoyed the whole experience!
Food was delicious and service was really great. Professional wait staff who gave our Bama graduate a hand written congratulations note. Highly recommend!
Our server didn't listen when placing our order and my daughter has severe allergies- everything we asked to not be on see burger was on and everything she wanted- she forgot- it wasn't that busy by the time we got there- we were ignored - didn't get water refilled and food wasn't even good for what we paid for it. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend.
Service, food, cocktails, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We went with our server's recommendations and they were great.
The arancini balls were delicious. I had the steak frites and my husband did the filet. Both steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly and very tender with the perfect crust. My chimichurri sauce and his gravy type sauce complimented our steaks very well, and the fries are amazing!

A wonderful experience! The food, the service and everything was perfect for my friends 40th birthday!
Waitress was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the kitchen was not good - all of our food - appetizers/salads/entrees came out at exactly the same time - not good - and food was so salty it was hardly edible.
Meatball & focaccia starter was very tasty..highly recommended. The burger was cooked well, but a bit salty. Fries were crisp, but a bit greasy. Server was very friendly.
Our first time here was very wonderful! The food was great, and everyone we came in contact with was so friendly and sweet! Very welcoming!
My girlfriend and I went to Forte for our anniversary and was expecting to have a great time. They started with complimentary champagne which was very sweet of them. After that nothing was good. We got the meatballs and focaccia along with the arancini to start, the bread was stale and the meatballs had no taste. The arancini was fine. My girlfriend got a cocktail that came out wrong. She also ordered the salmon which came out raw and when we asked if they could cook it more they said sure and when it came back out the manager said they were sorry and completely redid it... but her knife cut was still in the salmon so how could it have been a completely new dish? I ordered the bolognese which had ragu but there idea of ragu is chunks of meatballs and not braised beef. We left upset and will never go back. For $200 you would expect one dish to be good.
