This was my first time at Guthries I wasn’t impressed at all . A similar restaurant right down the road from them hands-down blowing them out of the water. Guthrie‘s chicken is greasy the fries are greasy their Guthrie sauce just well isn’t really not. You have to pay $.50 per sauce come on now and you’re a chicken finger place and I really honestly don’t know how they’re not closed down by now.

This Guthrie's always has great offerings of guilty pleasure eats. While the location is not convenient to quickly detouring from I-20 and being able to hop right on the interstate, the minor inconvenience is always worth the trip.

The spot for chicken fingers that just can’t be beat—seriously, it’s better than Cane’s. The chicken is always crispy and cooked just right, with that signature Guthrie’s sauce that takes it to the next level. The menu is simple, but that’s what makes it so good. You get what you want without any fuss: perfectly fried chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, and maybe some Texas toast if you’re feeling it.
