Coming from Chicago, I’m used to good food, but great service is hard to come by. J&R Cafe is a perfect combination of both. Ms. Josie is the sweetest and sets the bar high for my first impression of Alabama. The food is all home cooked and by far the best I’ve ever had. 20/5 star rating.

Hello everyone,I have eaten at aunt Josie for some years now,fresh vegetables,the meats are season just right, cornbread just like grandma,I taste a lot of the cooking I done back in the days, good downhome cooking,clean person,she cook a lot of years before retiring, try it you will love it.God Bless and be SAFE
