I was told as the paying party I couldn’t sit with my child at the table because I was not hungry and I wasn’t going to order food but I would for my son and this was my son’s choice to eat there. So he ate by himself when we were supposed to be enjoying our time together. If my son wasn’t determined to eat this I would have walked and not to return. Kinda sad when I have spent over $500 there in last 6 months. I guess cameras are not being used to determine if I’m eating or not. Kinda ridiculous when you also have a wait staff that is supposed to pay attention the table as well. Terrible experience. Will not be coming here on their birthdays. Sad. First place in America I felt like I was a criminal because I refused to spend money to watch my son eat in a restaurant that I’m paying for!

The place itself is endearing and conveniently located next to the hotel I stay at multiple times a year. And while the korean BBQ experience was new to me, the staff was extremely helpful and the food tasted amazing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to broaden their asian restaurant experience.
Great waiter. Was very accommodating with my daughter’s friends!

If you want authentic Korean restaurant experience in tuscaloosa, I highly recommend this restaurant. Iam Korean, my wife is thai and we are foodies. This has become my favorite restaurant in tuscaloosa ( and we are from Chicago). Excellent service, ambiance and value for price. While hot pot is awesome, I strongly recommend BBQ Korean Style...among my favorites...spicy bulgogi/ beef bulgogi, KPOT Short Ribs (don't over cook), Spicy pork bulgogi, Spicy pork belly/ pork belly( cook pork well) as well as other delicious options...come hungry and enjoy amazing korean BBQ...

First time here and wasn’t sure what to expect. The ambiance is nice and the service was great.
The best way I can describe it is it’s a buffet style cook it yourself restaurant. The food was ok, not amazing, but ok. I would probably try it again. I will say lunch is one price and dinner is another price. Weekends are a separate price. We went on a Friday night and had dinner for 2 with 2 soft drinks and it was $70. Little too expensive I think but I guess it’s because it’s a buffet. In my opinion, it’s a place you need to try once.

First time here. Daughter wanted to try it out for dinner. Wasn’t too bad. Just not my thing, but wouldn’t say no if she wanted to go again because she actually enjoyed it.

Very tasty food and the staff were very helpful. Easy to order what you want with the tablet on the table. Garlic pork belly was my favorite but there were a lot of tasty meats.

My friend wanted to try Kpot. The new KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurant next to Baumhower's. We didn't know what to expect. We went in and were greeted and asked did we want the Hot Pot (meats, seafood, noodles, and vegetables cooked in various broths) or the BBQ (meats and vegetables cooked on a tabletop grill. We chose the BBQ. First, they bring your drinks. Then decide what meats and vegetables you want to try first. This is an all-you-can-eat bar. You go to the bar and select salads, sauces, and appetizers to try. Then your raw food is brought to the table for you to cook. It only takes a couple of minutes, so you cook a couple of meats and vegetables at a time. Basically, you just sample everything that you want. Even though you get enough food to share with each other, you still pay $20.99 for each adult. We didn't care for the various salads. Yes, we tried them. There were a lot of different sauces for dipping and flavoring your food with. There were hot appetizers to enjoy while you waited. Crab rangoon, spring rolls, meatballs, fried onion rings, and sugar donuts. Your server suggests different sauces to try and helps stir and flip the food. There is a lot to chew. The vegetables were thin and good. The meats were so thin that they were tough when cooked. You cannot take any leftovers home. It was quite an experience.

My friends and I love coming here but our waitress was absolutely terrible we came at 11:40am our waitress name was Faith B and she was so disrespectful and had such a bad attitude, didn’t even let us talk or order the drinks we actually wanted. It was 3 of us and she only let 1 person talk basically letting that 1 person order for the whole table. Definitely the worst customer service ever!!! Still love this place but please hire someone that will enjoy their job at least.

Great place to eat! I think the lower ratings are from people that haven’t been to Korean bbq before and don’t know what to expect which is understandable. It’s more of a social thing where you cook your own food and have fun doing it. Their menu is great!
