Moonshot Creamery

Tried this place twice. First time, the flavor just wasn’t there. This time, the girl that was working today seemed bothered that people dared to come in.. it’s the problem with customer service these days. & then have the audacity to ask for a tip on the screen when you’re checking out.

Moonshot Creamery has some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had—seriously, don’t leave without trying the butter cake flavor. The only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is because the guys behind the counter weren’t all that welcoming. Felt more like a quick transaction than an experience. But if you’re going for the ice cream alone, it’s absolutely worth it.

Absolutely love Moonshot Creamery- my favorite are their seasonal flavors- I can’t wait for them to bring back the gingersnap flavor for the holidays!!🤭💖 such a great spot!

Ice cream was fine, but not anything spectacular. The ice cream we had the day before at a Hershey's ice cream store in SC was just as good and more generous. The serving size here was not good, a Moonshot single scoop is equivalent to a kiddie size cup almost anywhere else. We are passing through Tuscaloosa, but this would be a one and done even if we were coming back.

Moonshot is the best after school (or any time) ice cream shop! Their wine cellar in shop offers some of my favorite natural wines I can only find at moonshot!

The best ice cream in town! My favorite is mint chocolate chip and salt and brittle. We appreciated that they replaced the ice cream cone free of charge when our daughter dropped when she fell as she was sitting down.

Gooey butter cake is my fave!!

Absolutely delicious, homemade ice cream! The flavors are very seasonal and fresh. We had the peach cobbler and spicy cocoa, my goodness!!! You can tell their passion for ice cream!!

High quality ice cream. Definitely took care of all of my foodie cravings.

Best ice cream in Tuscaloosa, hands down. I ordered the toffee coffee and my husband ordered the chocolate brownie... No complaints here! Will definitely be coming back the next time we need an ice cream fix!

Olive oil drizzle... it's something to try. Great customer service and back patio.

THE MOST AMAZING ICE CREAM IN TTOWN!! I love that they have gf/df options!! I loveeeeee the oat milk cookie dough ice cream!!!! and strawberry sorbet!!!! Perfect spot for a walk along the river and ice cream!!

Man I gotta say…..this place rocks!!!!! The ice cream is delicious - I’d eat it for every meal of the day. (not kidding). I love the feel of the store and the music they play - not to mention the awesome river walk right out the back door. I was pleasantly surprised by the superior customer service from the two wonderful scoopers and my night was better because of their warm welcome. I don’t think I will ever get ice cream from anywhere else. Don’t miss out on moonshot.
