Matt was an amazing server, he was very friendly and efficient. Would love to have him again!!
Great food but our server Matt (told by other tables as well) was not quick acknowledged our food was burnt and did nothing until I went to the owner and showed him the plate of burnt flatbread.

I enjoyed this place even though it seems I came on a particularly busy night. My only complaint was that for $18 I only got 2 sliders. The plate was 75% fries. Don't get me wrong, the sliders were amazing but 2 of them were not worth that price.

It was ok. It is just average bar food. It was raining so I didn’t check out the views.

As food critics we're excited to see Tuscaloosa on the rise for new experiences and restaurants. Here's what made us love our experience:
- The atmosphere is perfect, well appointed and views to match!
- The service, from Courtney, was outstanding. Not only was she attentive, she gave us her best recommendations on the menu. The sliders with bacon jam hit the spot and would keep us coming back.
-The food is well plated and portioned respectfully!

Some of the the chicken in the tacos I ordered I couldn't even chew threw. So overpriced.
I went Saturday April 5th 2025 for first time. Beautiful atmosphere horrible service no waitress asked if we needed a menu i eventually had to literally wave with outstretched arms to get her attention which STILL did not work I had to do this 3 more times finally I had to yell 'maa'm' at the waitress she looked at me like I was crazy then I said may I please have a water she again looked at me like I was crazy she the blonde waitress had the other waitress bring me water few minutes later.

First time to visit Roll Call (after having eaten dinner several times at its wonderful fine dining counterpart downstairs -Forte). A great setting - well designed and very welcoming with a fun vibe. Excellent service and food and drinks were amazing, with lots of great options. A great addition to Tuscaloosa downtown community. Will definitely be back next time in town.

I was staying at the hotel and stopped by at this restaurant to order a salad. I asked if they could add tomatoes. The answer was NO. Not an explanation, no reason, nothing. Just NO.

If you want more than one drink, go somewhere else. Bar isn’t capable of keeping up. Otherwise, 5 stars.

It’s a gorgeous view but the bartenders were extremely rude. 08/31/24
Despite a very busy Saturday evening, our group of 4 managed to be seated immediately, the friendly staff took our drink and food orders, and within reasonable wait time everything served. All our food items (charcuterie tray, fries, sliders, and pizza) were freshly prepared and seasoned well. Definitely a great option to get drinks and light dinner when the restaurants and bars in the Strip are packed!

My favorite local bar! Roll Call is the fabulous rooftop bar located atop the Alamite Hotel in downtown Tuscsloosa. They have a variety of tasty cocktails. Our favorites are the margaritas, the cosmopolitans, and the espresso martinis, of course. They also have a hearty collection of appetizers to enjoy with your adult beverages like crab dip, pizza, street tacos, Caesar salads and more. The prices are good and the place has a fun , relaxing vibe. This rooftop bar is a great place to hang out with friends and family so make some time to stop in for a visit. Hours are posted but it is closed on Wednesdays which makes me sad. lol. Enjoy and Roll Tide.
