The atmosphere is warm and familiar—like stepping into Grandma’s house for Sunday dinner, without the hug and the pressure to ‘settle down.’ We ordered the neckbone and pork chop dinners, and the food was so irresistibly good that I ended up sacrificing my polo to the candied yam syrup. Despite the Sunday rush, the service was attentive and friendly. Prices are more than fair, and you truly get your money’s worth. All in all, an exceptional spot for soul food that feels both comforting and memorable.

The BBQ Large Pork Sandwich was perfect, plenty of meat and no fat. The Coconut Cake had the right amount of frosting, just enough to hold the fluffy, tender coconut. Will order again.

I drove down all the way from birmingham awful customer service I was charged twice but the pig feet were good greens was awful salty can greens brocoli cheese rice was room temperature corn bread was over cooked ....I WONT EVER RETURN

First time dining at Thomas Rib Shack today. We were headed back to MS from South Carolina and was looking for some soul food. We were definitely not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff and other customers were friendly. We will definitely be checking them out again.

Do what the locals do - grab and go... Even though we were the only ones eating in... Especially after a 25 - minute wait for our food...30 people came and went before we got our food...We don't recommend the Catfish - it tastes like chemicals...
