I love the Shorter and Tuskegee, Alabama Popeyes locations. Their staff is always so friendly and the food is always delicious. The only thing that I do not like about the Tuskegee location is, that when you order online, they will not serve you through the drive through.
I ordered online expecting a quick pickup, but when I arrived at the drive-thru I was told I had to come inside. Once inside, I was told they didn’t have the spicy pieces I ordered, so I settled for what was available. Unfortunately, the food was cold, dry, and clearly not fresh. On top of that, the service was rude and unhelpful. This was a very disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning or recommending this location.
Friendly employees, delicious food after a very long drive. Photos around the restaurant featured the historic Tuskeegee Airmen. Wish we had arrived in time to visit the museum, but we enjoyed a good meal before gasing up across the street.
I suspect the AC wasn't working properly in the kitchen as they had a large fan facing backwards on the counter. I wasn't in love with how it was blowing straight toward thw hot boxes filled with food. . . Kinda...
