“Jj's loudge has come under new ownership. I was there for their soft opening and It was better than I imagined! At the front of the lounge is Youji ( yes- the same one that was located in ValleyFair!) They have some bomb a** drinks and you can even add alcohol to it! Now , if you make your way down you'll see the rest of the venue. Theres a couple of tables and comfy seats for your party to sit at. Than theres the bar ! The ambience was chill with great music playing in the back . If you're not comfortable being inside, theres a couple high top tables outside for you as well. Bar is stocked - they even offered Japenese whisky and some light snacks! My friends and I had such an amazing experience. The tables were set up where we were still able to maintain a safe distance. The owner was super friendly and checked on our party to make sure we had everything we need. Not only that, but the bartenders were great on recommendations. Our initial plan to drop by for an hour turned into almost five hours!! This is the perfect place to wind down after work, grab a couple drinks with friends , or even host an intimate gathering! Your own little private party! I heard they are planning to have bottle service soon so I am looking forward to that. If they ever offer the option to rent the venue for a night - that would be amazing! Huge shoutout to Teresa and Duy for a fantastic night! My friends couldn't stop raving about how much fun they had and excited to come back!”

“The chili slaw dog is my favorite. I do wish the hot dog itself was more the size of a Ballpark. I call ahead and they prepare it really fast. I always get it to go.”

“Cutest little shop right off the interstate I-65 exit 212. Outdoor fridge that allows you too stop 24/7 and get a whole pie or slice...drinks available too...Catch their open hours and you can get a wide selection of pies. Follow on Facebook and know when the fridge is stocked. Pies are SOOOOOO good - priced fairly. Love this little of the beaten path shop..”

“On Thursday, April 3, 2024 we had a late lunch/early dinner at Stoney's, Clanton, Al. It had been some time since we had eaten there. The atmosphere was welcoming, very clean, the service by our waitress Sherri was the best service we ever received and the food was delicious. We met our son and daughter in law and we are all looking forward to the next visit there.Parking: We parked in handicap and our Don parked in regular parking close by. For this time of day parking was no problem (3 pm)”

From a tiny little new person ? all the way to a DIY dad! There are even some items in there for the grandparents and the favorite aunt and uncles.Wheelchair accessibility: The lot is flat and rolls right into the shed where the fresh produce is on display. From there you may enter the glass doors into the ice cream, sandwich and gift shop!!! You could lose an hour in their easily.”

“So I came down to Clanton for a game of disc golf and I always make it a point to find a local grub spot to get some good food! I got the BBQ sundae, and I was sceptical at first. I did it with potato salad and Cole slaw. It was beyond different and delicious! Not to mention the staff here is very friendly and the food comes out fast! “? Excellent dining experience every single time. We live minutes from the NG, so we’ve eaten here at least once a week over several years. There are plenty of options from the menu. My favorites in order are: the steaks, the chiton chicken plate with steamed broccoli, and garlic parmesan wings. Best steaks in Central Alabama, and it’s not even close. My medium steak order has never been over or under cooked. They are so good! The vegetables they serve are top quality and fresh. I really like the seasoning with the steamed broccoli. The wings are the best around too. The wait staff is friendly and they get you in and out quickly. I can’t ever recall having a bad experience here, which says a lot for eating here as often as we do. They generously honor our veterans with a discount. ?? We are blessed to have such a fine establishment in our community.”

The restaurant is clean, the service is prompt and friendly, and you can tell the people in the kitchen know what they’re doing because they’re quiet, focused, and fast. “Not only do her cakes taste incredible they are beautiful as well. I came to Emily with a simple cake in mind, we shared ideas and she created the most beautiful wedding cake for us. Our friends are family are also still talking about how delicious our cheesecake grooms cake was as well. Highly recommended Indulge for all your dessert needs!”

“Great place to go, good/normal service, normal food, and beautiful inside decor/atmosphere. We live close to Clanton and been going since the late 90s early 2000s. Nothing really changes and I like it that way... Also the only place in the world left that allows smoking in the bar area. But don't worry none smokers there's an non-smoking restaurant side for you as well. I set on the non-smoking side with my dad because he has headaches, and it doesn't bother him. Overall great place to eat....”

“I drove 40 minutes to try this and it was worth it. I would eat here everyday if I could. I got the ribs, Cajun fries and baked beans and it was amazing. Came with my wife and a couple friends. They opened at 11am and they were sold out by 110pm. This is Triple D Worthy.”

It's hard to believe someone would take the time to write a negative review because they cut into a chocolate cake and found only the icing was chocolate.My granny use to make a chocolate cake that was so close to Sue's chocolate cake that I'm thinking Sue and I must be related somehow. ?Unbelievable, I've tried three different flavors so far. The only thing I don't like is I'm bound to be adding some pounds as long as Sue's in business.Don't change a thing Mrs Sue. Let the "new fashioned" get their cakes from Stouffers.My guess is that some of these negative reviews are coming from Sue's jealous competition. BTW.....the only reason I looked up Cakes by Sue was to see if they made my favorite German Chocolate cake.Keep up the great work!”
