We ate here, without reservations, early on a Saturday evening while we waited for some tire work on our vehicle. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Lots to choose from with chicken, fish, meat and pasta. Great wine list and signature cocktails were offered.

My lady friend and I made reservations late for a table but we did get seats at the bar and really enjoyed chatting with the two bartenders! We both ordered chicken scaloppine piccata and it was delicious. The servings were big so we had plenty left over for another meal! The service was very good. All in all, we had a wonderful dining experience!

The food and service are outstanding. We are definitely to go back. Try not to get a table near the door. Can be a little breezy and cool when they open and close it to serve those dinning outside.

The food and service were very good as usual but the owner needs to upgrade some of the chair/seat coverings which are embarrassingly full of holes and not visually pleasing especially when taking out your spouse on date night.

Veggie plate was bland. Sweet potatoes was not sweet with no favors. Field peas had no meat or seasoning. Collard greens were tough. No seasonings on the fried green tomatoes. Grilled cornbread that made it harder to eat.

Food was very good and server was great, very responsive and friendly. Our table was delayed by 10-15 minutes past our reservation time, but the staff did work quickly to eventually get a table cleared. It is a bit noisy...just something to be aware of. All in all a nice restaurant.

Had a wonderful meal celebrating my Dad's 91st birthday. Had requested a table in back room that was quieter. Restaurant honored my request which really helped my father better able to hear the table conversation. Chef/owner spoke to my Dad on the way out and that really made his night

Excellent entreés, service, bar drinks! We ate here based on positive Open Table reviews and were not disappointed. Our entreés, the snapper special and the fettuccine were beautiful and delicious. We were not wowed by the fried oyster and shrimp appetizer, which needed a hot cocktail sauce instead of the blah remoulade. I'm sure there are better choices - will have to try something different next time. And we certainly will go back.

Great food! The service was extremely good. We had the fillet and a Fish of the Day dish. Both were superb! The desserts are fantastic. The strawberry shortcake and cobbler. Highly recommend for a special day.

The 4 star is because of service not the food!!! This place is a gem, and the food is incredible. Overall we had a good experience but we were not seated until about 15 minutes after our reservation. There were about 6 couples queued at the host waiting to be seated which was uncomfortable space-wise and for diners seated close to the door. Our food was delicious, and we sat at the bar for dinner, which was fun! We will be back.

Bistro V is a quaint little place just a few minutes from Samford University. I met my daughter for Valentine's dinner and was pleasantly suprised with the menu they had prepared. There were plenty of options and several of them sounded delicious. We chose the Tortellini and the Fish of the day and they were both incredible. The chef had made blackberry cobbler for dessert and it was delicious as well with a perfectly crusted exterior. We left very satisfied but not stuffed. The ambiance lacks a little but that doesn't truly bother me. I'd make the drive from Huntsville again for another meal here.

Since 2020, I have starved for a great dining experience. After spending many years in hospitality industry, I know the daily struggles of running a restaurant. Giving a chef's meal, and to make it even better, service to compliment the experience. Our latest service experience was the BEST we have had in a number of years. ASHLEY was a breath of fresh air and rejuvenated my confidence there was still a place to receive superior service!Thank you to the owners with the foresight to hire such a wonderful server!
