Started with a gator. You don't get very much and most of the pieces are so tiny there's no meat inside.

The main entree with red snapper. They didn't remove the dark part of the meat. The size of the fillet was roughly 4 ounces. It tasted fine, at least there's that. But when the totals over $60 I shouldn't leave hungry. I'm not an overweight person. I have a normal appetite.

The service was nonexistent, I had to ask for everything including silverware.

I came here hungry and I left hangry. Will not come back do not recommend.

We are originally from Louisiana and always when out of state , like to try Louisiana-base food . I order shrimp po boy for myself and pasta for my son .Bread was warm and tasty but but the ingredients were provided separately and basically I was supposed to put lattuce , tamato , dressing , shrimp on the bread , which is weird as in my Louisiana poboy are served fully made up .
Pasta was good as per my son . Refills on soda were very slow and we finished our meals by then .

Had fish tacos from the lunch menu. They were excellent, reasonably priced, plus I was full and satisfied when I left. Great service on top of that.

The food was not all that. Barely seasoned. Food was not hot. It was room temperature. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Great ambience! Great service! Would have gotten 5 stars but the food was a bit under seasoned. But still ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹.

Staff and atmosphere was fine but I ordered ettoufee and what they brought me wasn't even close. It's like they rushed it. And never once was I even asked how was everything.

Being from South Louisiana I was raised eating Cajun and Creole food. My step daughter had a doctor's appointment in Birmingham. We always eat at places we haven't tried before. I have to say after reading all the older reviews I was a bit nervous to try this restaurant. Well, I am so glad I did. They must have a new Chef because everything we had passed our taste test. We sampled a large variety of the menu. Everything was brought out hot. Everything was fried to perfection. Everything was seasoned as though my grandmother's and my mother made it. The only thing I would improve would be the sauces. The cocktail sauce was perfection. A nice spicy flavor but it did not overpower the taste of the food. The other two sauces need more flavoring. They were ok but were quite bland. Our waiter brought us refills before we asked. He checked on us at regular intervals. Very attentive. The restaurant was very clean as were the bathrooms. Fries were fantastic and I loved the chips they made in house. I am looking forward to our next trip in a couple of weeks. Yes, we are very pleased with the overall experience or we would move on to another restaurant to test out. This one fits the bill for my South Louisiana taste buds! Yes our bill was high...by our choice to try out a variety of menu offerings. Plus we had to bring half the food home!
And by the way, I loved the Louisiana zydeco music!

The food was delicious. My table ordered a round of their fried seafood platter. However, 2 of us ordered the crab chowder and didn't like it. The crab claws were great but extremely tiny! ๐Ÿ˜’ Overall, I enjoyed the meal and our server was wonderful. We're from out of town but this place is definitely on my list of places to eat when/if we return.

Fine restaurant, would recommend if you are in the area. We ordered boiled shrimp, po boys, and a cup of gumbo and cup of etoufee. No complaints! The staff was great, definitely made the experience pleasant. Restaurant is in a strip mall, decorated nicely, typical of this type of restaurant, but nothing distracting or tacky. Great experience!
