The place has seen better days but has weathered the storms like a salty.
Lots of people use the drive-through or takeout, but the lobby is actually pretty nice.
Like most restaurant chains, staffing has had issues, but aside from getting overwhelmed every once in a while, the people are good and offer as much service as they can.
Parking: Weird lot shape, but I've never had problems parking

One of my favorite spots. Although it is pricey, I can't help but enjoy every now and then. The only downside is that when charged more for certain side items, only receives very small. Ex: Broccoli. If I'm uncharged for it, can I have at least 2 bowls instead of the one small? I understand every business has to make a profit, but at the expenses of downsizing portions for paying customers? Think about it.
Parking: I like the bringing out of food, especially when you have small kids. It gives a hospitality feel (years ago, it wasn't like that).
Kid-friendliness: Yes.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of parking, but not accessible doors.

Horrible experience and I won’t be back. Why would you catch an attitude with me when you’re the one who got my order wrong MULTIPLE TIMES after I repeated it to you? I repeated it at the menu again at the window and still it was wrong when it finally came out. There’s a huge difference between broccoli and okra. They don’t even sound similar. Corporate should get rid of this person in the kitchen because they can’t do their job properly and are offended when a customer corrects them politely. It would’ve been totally different had I come in there with an attitude. I waited patiently in the drive thru for more than 30 minutes and you still got my order wrong. Just sad.

Picked up two dinners. The potato as shown in the picture was completely rotten! The balance of the food was fine. This location doesn’t have heavy traffic but their drive thru service is always extremely slow.

It was a seemingly normal day when I decided to stop by Captain D's for a quick meal. The seafood platter caught my eye, and despite some inner hesitation, I ordered it, thinking nothing could go wrong. But oh, how wrong I was. The food seemed fine at first—crispy, fried, and just what I was expecting. But about an hour after finishing my meal, the first wave of discomfort hit. My stomach started rumbling like a brewing storm, and the pain that followed was unlike anything I had ever felt. Little did I know, this was just the beginning of one of the worst experiences of my life.
As I rushed to the nearest bathroom, the pain intensified, twisting my insides in a way that made me question every life choice that led me to that Captain D's. What came next was an eruption of the most awful, horrible, and excruciating diarrhea I had ever endured. It was relentless. Wave after wave, I sat there in agony, gripping the sides of the stall, praying for relief. The pain wasn’t just in my stomach; it felt like my entire body was in revolt. I’d never experienced something so violent from food before, and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
The sheer duration of it was horrifying. I must’ve been in that bathroom for what felt like an eternity, battling the waves of cramps and the inevitable dread that came with each passing minute. The sounds—oh, the sounds—were a nightmare in themselves. I could hear people coming and going outside the bathroom, but I was trapped, unable to move until the storm inside me passed. I started to worry about dehydration, wondering if my body could even recover from the relentless assault it was under. It was a humiliating, painful, and truly unforgettable experience.
Even when I finally stumbled out of that bathroom, weak and shaking, the nightmare wasn’t over. My body was so drained from the experience that I spent the rest of the day feeling like a shell of myself, too afraid to eat anything. For days afterward, I was haunted by flashbacks of that terrible afternoon. Captain D’s had ruined seafood for me, perhaps forever, and I couldn't help but wonder if I'd ever trust a fried shrimp again. That meal was a true test of endurance and pain, one I hope never to face again.

Poor customer service!
I DO NOT like greeting when I come in the door, trying to talk to my daughter about what we are going to get. SO THIS PLACE WAS GREAT, in every way!!! Lady who took our order was on spot & helpful and sooooo nice! Food was fast and hot and they brought it to our table. Price was great too!

Food was good. We did an online order for pickup which in my opinion is the best way to order if limited on time for the work lunch hour.
