“I liked the Mayan coffee and the stoic service. I don't know what happened to my hearing that day but I had the hardest time understanding the barista. She took it in stride and after my third fumble she started speaking with an accentuation that bordered on the theatrical and a smile that showed more empathy than frustration or sarcasm. I guess a white beard comes with benefits.“

“I'm not saying City Bowls is the best thing since sliced bread, but I'm not not saying that either. I mean, have you ever had a smoothie that's so good it'll make you wanna sing? No? Just me? Okay, moving on. The pitaya, strawberry, and apple juice base was like a tropical vacation in a bowl, and the toppings were like the fun activities you do on said vacation - pineapple, mango, raspberries, blackberries, and dried goji berries, oh my! And don't even get me started on the gluten-free granola, fresh shaved coconut, honey drizzle, and bee pollen sprinkle - it was like the cherry on top of a sundae (or in this case, the bee pollen on top of a smoothie bowl). But seriously, after eating this, I felt like a new person - more alert, sharper focus, and my back and knees were like 'what inflammation?' So yeah, you guys need to try this place, it's the real deal.“

I've been twice so far since the opening and it taste amazing, I wish I could afford to eat it every single day! I love the atmosphere as well. I normally go to other juice bars and açaí places in Tuscaloosa, but Farm Bowls is so much closer to my home. “Person working there was very friendly and it was a very welcoming environment. It is all indoor seating but they have a fair amount of seats. There was a very decent variety of ice cream flavors also a good amount of toppings. Overall it was a very good ice cream place, considering since I've moved south it's been hard to find ice cream places besides Dairy Queen and Bruster's.“
