My daughter works nearby and I took her there for lunch. I got the shrimp tacos, and she got a shrimp basket. Both were excellent. I thought it was a bit pricey, but I can deal with it.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I’m visiting from out of town, and my blackened mahi fish tacos were other-worldly. The hush puppies were a delightful side, with the fresh house made tartar sauce to dip. 100% loved this meal. The vibe here is relaxed, mom & pop kind of cozy. Go here today. I will be back!!

Getting my dose of vitamin SEA. Today was our 1st time dining at Snapper Grabbers. I've been curious about this place. It appears to be very busy every time I've dined at Bistro V next door, so my dad & I checked it out. Dad & I both had the Shrimp Basket featuring 12 fried gulf shrimp with hushpuppies & choice of a side. We both chose Zapp's Chips with the made in-house onion dip as our side. This was an excellent shrimp basket! The shrimp are fresh, quite large & were fried to perfection. I liked the batter which I believe consisted mostly of seasoned cornmeal. It gave the shrimp a nice texture with just the right amount of saltiness. I really enjoyed the hushpuppies as well. You can tell they're made from scratch. They contain corn kernels which adds a little pop of sweetness & great texture. The onion dip was also very good. Again, made from scratch, creamy, lovely charred onion flavor. I also had a side of the Cajun Snappy Sauce to dip my shrimp in. It's like a sweet & spicy chili sauce. It compliments & enhances the succulent, salty shrimp. I highly recommend this entire dish. I am definitely a fan of Snapper Grabbers! The restaurant has a bit of a New Orleans vibe. Cozy yet comfortable...but arrive early or be prepared to wait in line/risk not having a place to sit. We arrived right at 11 & there was already a good bit going on. By 11:40 there was a line nearly out the door. That alone should tell you how great this little seafood spot is. There's an attached market that sells fresh seafood. I saw that they serve a few canned beers, but not sure about wine. Service was friendly & efficient. For those of you who haven't been & are curious, ABSOLUTELY add this place to your "must dine" list! I know we'll be back.

Delightful lunch! We had the smash burger and they were delicious! It's a small cafe but we beat the lunch crowd and were finished in less than an hour. We'll be back!!!

This has been a favorite for several years now. I have told many people that the cornmeal fried shrimp are the best I’ve had, and I love the remoulade coleslaw. Today was the first bad meal I’ve had, the shrimp not cornmeal fried and with so little batter, they were uncoated in spots. Like many order at the register spots, they really need a policy of no sitting until you’ve ordered. It could easily be the case that you get your food while someone behind you in line has already grabbed a seat.
