The name is deceiving. I have been on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to see how the vibe is different. They barely play any country line dance or swing songs. On one occasion, I counted 8 hip hop songs in a row. They played the electric slide twice within 3 hours. Customer service at the main bar is terrible. The two bartenders seem like they are never happy. I won't even start a tab at the main bar anymore. We still enjoy going for a few games of pool. The bartenders at the side bars are always friendly and provide great service. The food is good bar food that hits just right after a few drinks.

The drinks were OK. Alcohol content was questionable. The music was a mixture but if you are going out to snuggle and get close in a slow dance or 2 forget it! If you don't line dance you will not have a chance to dance at all what so ever! If you like to watch line dancing for hours this is your place.

Been a few times with my wife with hopes of change. Spent over an hour watching 20 yr olds line dance to pop and R&B at 8pm, save that for later. Take Texas out of your name. Way too much line dancing (not country music), not any swing, two step or waltz country. Caters to a younger crowd when you’re missing multiple eras and revenue streams from the populace.
Owner needs to take feedback seriously, as you are the main establishment in this area who claims country dancing and tarnishing what a good roadhouse/honky-tonk can be. Best thing done was getting rid of the sorry excuse for a country band that played classic rock and roll. I’m not young but I’m not old either. Listen to your customers and make changes, or not. Won’t be returning.

We drove from Birmingham to Wetumpka with the intentions of stoping to have a couple of drinks with my mom who isn’t going to be out late, but we wanted to listen to the band, so we were going to go to the casino in between 8-9. We got there at 6:30 and they were going to charge us a $10/ea. cover, there were no bands, no dj… nothing to pay a cover for.. but we were planning to come back to hear the band and pay a cover later so I asked if we could get a stamp or bracelet to get back in and they said nope, we have to pay the cover AGAIN. WHAT?? Just on the pure principle of not getting charged twice we went somewhere else where we had a great time and they all drank kore than they planned.
As a bar owner, you lost more money on sales than you would have made on a cover, we will never be back where you have to pay to walk into a silent bar, and yes, the people who work there are rude and the service at the front bar does suck on a regular basis.

Travel from Columbus time to time to line dance. Great floor and space. Every time we have been on a Saturday we get to enjoy about 30 minutes of line dancing before an older gentleman starts to DJ and ruins the vibe with sad country/slow songs. If you’re a line dancer I would recommend only coming on Thursday night or during competitions , otherwise you’ll probably be bored.

We went to the line dancing lessons on Thursday. Great time with friends. The only thing that was difficult, was seeing the instructor. I wish they would have been on the stage or on the tv screen. We will definitely come back for another try!

This place is going down in terms of poor customer service because of the 2 bartenders at the door as you walk in. Both ladies were very rude, unprofessional and without good manners. Why pay 10 dollars for a pass to get into a bar/night club and you keep struggling to get a drink? I kept standing in front of them and no one attended to me. They did the same thing to some guys and those guys got tired of standing and walked away. Yet some guys came and stood beside me and they were attended to. Two other girls came and stood on the right side and one of the bartenders attended to them. I became confused and started questioning myself if something was wrong with me. I wasn't drunk and I've not had any drinks whatsoever.
I tried to signal to them but to no avail. I got tired of standing and walked away. I wasted my time and gas for driving down there. Hell, if I knew that would happen to me, there're other better bars or clubs I would have gone to and save my time. I've been to many bars in my life, but this place doesn't deserve my time or money. Very negative!
