Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

We had driven by this place a few times and their frozen custard caught my eye. So the next time we were in town we swung in to check it out. It seems to me that Freddies is a bit of a cross between Culvers and 5 guys. Lots of burger options to choose from as well as chicken. Self serve drinks are always a bonus, too. The interior is very bright with lots of white and red and big windows. Ordering was at the counter and they called out number when the order was up. They got my ice cream order wrong (wrong flavor) but I ate it anyway because we wanted to get back on the road. As far as Burger joints go it's on tap with Culvers or 5 Guys, or a Steak and Shake but probably a step up from McD's, BK, Whattaburger or Wendy's. I'd be willing to give them another shot.

Good burgers and custard is delicious. Only drawback is they don't serve Coke, it's Pepsi ! 🤮

We placed an order in the drive thru. Our food was all correct & good even though I didn’t get to eat my chicken bowl because they failed to put a fork in thee bag. We were also given the wrong type of fry sauce. There’s a difference between smoked fry sauce & jalapeño fry sauce. Do better!

While traveling through Arkansas from out of state, we stopped at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and were genuinely impressed from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was spotless, including the dining area and restrooms, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and well managed. The staff was exceptionally friendly, patient, and attentive, making us feel appreciated as customers instead of rushed through the line.

The food was fresh, hot, and prepared exactly right both times we visited. The steakburgers were flavorful, the fries were crisp, and everything came out quickly even during a busy time. What really stood out was the consistency — our second visit later that same week was just as good as the first, which says a lot. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and level of service we received.

It’s not often that a fast-casual restaurant leaves enough of an impression to make you return while traveling, but this location absolutely did. If you’re anywhere near Batesville, this Freddy’s is worth the stop.

Stopped at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers while traveling through from out of state and was so impressed that we went back a second time in the same week. The service was exceptional both visits — friendly, fast, and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean, the food was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very affordable! It’s rare to find a place this consistent while on the road. Highly recommend if you’re passing through Batesville!

this has got to be the biggest joke in town for something to eat two chill dogs that we couldn't eat two orders of onion rings that was so hard that you couldn't eat every thing was cold everything went in the trash and cost $21.50 i'll never go back there again
