I met up with friends here on a Sunday morning and it was a really great experience. I decided to order on the app because I wanted to get points, but I learned that the barista really is the best person to order a drink from because they know how it all goes together. Long story short, I was trying to order a hot chocolate without the dairy, and what I ordered on the app turned out to be ... steamed milk with no chocolate. Starbucks Coffee Company is a place where customers can have different experiences. Sometimes, the baristas are very friendly and nice, but other times they can be unfriendly. The restaurant had a mistake with an order, not once but twice, which made the customer think it was done on purpose. However, the manager was kind and explained that there was a miscommunication. The customer usually has a good experience at this Starbucks, but this time it seemed like there were multiple points of failure in customer experience.
On the other hand, the restaurant did a fantastic job with a catering order for a school, and the manager was super helpful. Most of the staff is very friendly, and the drinks are made the way customers order them. The food items are yummy, and the atmosphere inside is very welcoming. The patio and interior have comfortable seating areas, including a long table with accessible plugs for laptops. The bathroom is always clean. The restaurant has vegetarian options, including drinks and baked goods, and customers can customize their orders with various milk options. Parking can be difficult due to shared parking with other businesses. Overall, Starbucks Coffee Company is a great place with great baristas, but it seems like they had a one-off bad experience with customer service.
