Can't say enough good things about this place. The chopped pork bbq had amazing hickory smoked flavor. The homemade french fries were a perfect pairing on the BBQ platter. Definitely try the chili one of the best I've ever had. I see why they've managed to be a hit for 100 years
There is a reason this place has been serving BBQ for 100 years. We stopped here while traveling. The BBQ here is as good as I've eaten anywhere. Plenty of meat on the large pig sandwich . Would drive out of my way to eat here again.

Visited October, 2023. THE BEST ONION RINGS EVER! Soft, sweet cooked circle of onion in a firm, crisp not-too-thick outer shell. Got the Pig sandwich which was good with some crisp bits in the smoky chopped pork. It was the right balance with coleslaw tucked inside and generous squirts of the vinegar based sauce at the table.
