Mud Street Cafe Annex is a cozy spot with amazing pies and massive slices. The close-knit space is filled with artwork, creating a fun atmosphere. The veggie garlic grits and biscuit and gravy plate were uniquely made and delicious. The plain pancake was a hit, and the free coffee refills until 3 were a great deal. The Croak Madame is a must-try for breakfast. Sitting at the bar is recommended for the best experience, with friendly staff and a welcoming environment to enjoy a meal. Visitors also enjoy the unique view through a cool “window” in the floor that looks down to an underground stream. The place offers a variety of options, including lighter, healthier choices and heartier fare, with well-cooked and flavorful food. The service is friendly and cheerful, making the experience even better. The homemade chicken salad and excellent coffee are highly appreciated, and the staff's helpfulness makes this a favorite spot for breakfast and lunch.
