House of Taste is a restaurant that offers a beautiful cultural dining experience. The atmosphere is peaceful with a waterfall and dim/natural lighting. It is accommodating to small children and has a warm and welcoming staff that is incredibly friendly and provides wonderful service, although there may be a language barrier at times.
The menu has good vegetarian options, including a vegetarian bibimbap and veggie dumplings. The spicy beef yukegaejang soup is a must-try, with its perfectly balanced spicy and savory flavors. You can also enjoy the Kalbi and “Pork stew”. The food is very fresh, high quality, and delicious, made fresh to order in a one-man kitchen for the most authentic Korean food. However, some noodle dishes, such as the jjangmyeon and sweet potato noodle dish, may be overcooked. The spam kimchi and kimchi radish may not be suitable for those who are not fans of kimchi, but they are probably authentic and beautifully presented.
The restaurant can get busy, and the lot next to it can fill up quickly. Prices are on the higher side, but the food and cultural experience make it worth it. Overall, House of Taste is a great place to try, and it is recommended to go back to try more of their menu.
