I'm from Texas and we have a New Orleans style sno ball stand we have gone to since I was a kid down there. Da' Bayou is the closest I have had to that in a long time. Will definitely be back and bring all of the kids next time.
The snow cones are almost always great! The indoor areas aren't very nice, and occasionally you may get a snow cone with ice that's a lot stiffer and choppier, but those things are vastly overshadowed by the mostly excellent experiences. Definitely recommended for picking up and taking with you!

I’ve only been twice. They were very nice both times…I think it depends on who is making the snow cones. The 1st time it was the best snow cone I’ve ever had and I really liked that the ice was different. It was great. The second time I got the same thing and a strawberry shortcake for some one else. They said theirs had no flavor and mine was sweet but didn’t taste like the first one. It tasted …not like the flavor it was supposed to be.
