“Don’t let the outside fool you. This place was being ran by one man and he held it DOWN. Need a water? He’s got it. Spring rolls? Unworldly. Peanut sauce? Great day to not be allergic to peanuts. Pho? HOT AND DELECTABLE! I also got the #58. Lemongrass chicken and MM MM MMM. Free banana desert included? Call me a monkey cause I went BANANAS!!! The service was good for what he could do. Chef and waiter and host all in one. On a serious note, I’d definitely support this family business. It was for sure a real deal :)“

“Okay... enough already with all the nonsense about the service being "rude"; 50% of you guys need to lighten up or develop thicker skin! Sheesh. Yes, the service at Pho King perhaps isn't what you would call "warm" or friendly - whatever. But "rude" implies that they actually disrespect you in some way, which has never been the case for me. Plus, what really irritates me is that so many of you are not acknowledging that: 1) their food is delicious, and EVERY but as good as Green Papaya's or Pho Hoang's, both of which I've been to many times, if not better, and; 2) the prices, perhaps every bit as importantly, are, on average, about $3.00 cheaper PER comparable menu item, which is a BIG deal for many when choosing a restaurant. So stop worrying about the fact that the wait staff isn't known for their warmth (hey... they still regularly come by and ask if I need a refill or anything else, which is more than I can say for many restaurants!) and start focusing on the things that really make Pho King a great joint to eat at for local Vietnamese food (and I've spent over three years of my life living and teaching in East Asia, so I know a thing or two about good Asian food!).“

“Went there as I was wanting to try Pho for the first time and other reviews/photos stood out here thus I went. I got the #6, which is the Beef Pho in spicy broth. I got extra jalapenos and lime, but that's my personal preference, of course. I ate till my Fullest compacity for one sitting and I still had, I'd say, 40 oz or so to take as left overs. She put it in a xl cup and it was almost filled to the top. Everything was and tasted fresh. Huge portions, very friendly service and clean restaurants. Recommend this place to a high degree.“

“My family and I went here last night for a special dinner. I chose this restaurant because I don't eat meat regularly. They have a vegan and vegetarian menu included on a separate page in their menu. I was a little worried because a lot of food that is vegetarian and vegan at other places lack flavor. Not at Green Papaya! It was delicious! From the tofu spring rolls to the tofu egg noodle dish! I am in love and will make this a regular spot for a delisicious healthy meal! And the prices are excellent! I expected to make more than 20 dollars just for myself and my order but this place only cost about 20 total for my appetizer and meal and it was plenty of food! I had leftovers! Yum! Give this place a chance! And for all you meat eaters they have a whole menu dedicated to you as well!“

“Make sure if you are making a to go order call in directly into the restaurant and save like 20%. Use the new menu that is multiple pages. My husband amd I got the pork Bah Mi sandwhichs always amazing, traditional spring rolls fresh and peanut sauce is delicious. Then, we got seafood pho, broth and noodles just to die for and the traditional LoMein was packed with flavor and the noodles were a perfect texture. My husband also got his favorite from here their Thai Tea, so sweet and herbal. ❤❤“
