“A cozy southern breakfast restaurant. Very friendly and hospitable staff, makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. They have everything you could expect on their menu. Good southern food. I had the biscuits and gravy. Prices are reasonable, and the coffee is good. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast.“

Hushpuppies were oil soaked on the outer third of crust...4* on atmosphere due to sticky tabletops, lack of sugar substitute on the tables and secondary dinning hall's restroom was in need of cleaning. The soap dispenser was off the wall and not in working order. (How do employees wash their hands before returning to work?)Shrimp was good as always. Fried catfish was delicious as we've come to expect.“

“We really enjoyed this seafood restaurant! The catfish, shrimp and the gator poor boy were delicious. We definitely recommend Flying Fish. The decor is so interesting with walls of fish mounted and old tackle boxes as well as pictures of people with their catches. I loved the saying on the back of one of the managers that said, “We catch and release, in real hot grease.” Great service and the lady that was cleaning tables was amazing! She was running around cleaning up more quickly than I’ve ever seen anywhere!“

“The food was wonderful and the crab dip starter was delicious grilled oysters, red beans and rice are amazing and the wife absolutely loved the fish tacos and the prices are great for the food and their cocktails and beer are amazing and far priced as well this is our second time here and it's still an amazing place to eat with great service thank you so much for the wonderful experience!!!!“

“Our first visit was today, but it won't be the last. The folks running this amazing place are friendly, and the food is beyond compare. We may have gone overboard ordering, but I'm gonna be so happy with my leftovers!Meatloaf, chicken and dressing, ox tails, candied yams, black eyed peas, cornbread, and dessert. We ordered what we thought was a bit much for 2 people and got enough for 4.Portions are wonderful, and the flavors are out of this world. And the owner, he's very grateful that you come to his place. I go in there every day. Sometimes, twice daily, they call you by name & thank you for coming. “The chicken here is amazing. The sides are good as well. Try the chicken with a little honey and you'll get a perfect blend of sweetness and heat. I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because the floor is way too slippery. The fried green tomatoes are ?Parking: It can be difficult at times to find close parking. We lucked up and got a spot right in front of the restaurant. Make sure to pay for parking or you will be ticketed!“

“If you love crispy fried REAL catfish, then this is your place to be! My baby shower was hosted here. Brandy and Tiuna were simply amazing! There were 50 of us and not one person had complaints!! This place has a superb reputation amongst central Arkansas residents! The only complaints I have received was afterwards in regards to why people weren’t invited to eat this food. Forget welcoming my baby girl. Why wasn’t I invited to eat “The Hook”. It’s satisfactory guaranteed!“

“We celebrated my son's birthday after Easter church service. The lines were overwhelmingly long, but the servers got us all in quickly and successfully. Food was delicious as always and waitresses came and sang happy birthday to my son. Excellent time overall.“
