So glad j found this spot! Mel’s Southern Diner is great. I had a hamburger & fried & fountain Dr. Pepper. The food was delicious & the service great! So nice to eat a non-corporate hamburger! I’ll be back!
Nice little place, and I mean little. I think it can seat around 20 people and I wish they could seat more.
It's a small, tidy mom-n-pop diner with the nicest people I've met in a long time. My server was so attentive and nice. I honestly believe she was glad I came in 😃. I thanked the two other ladies in the kitchen on my way out, and they too were genuinely thankful I stopped by. Super nice people.

We came on a Saturday on vacation in Arkansas, had 3 of the Saturday specials, and 2 small kids meals. It was quiet, bright, friendly, and our server, Amber, was great. The tables had all the things we needed and if it didn't, Amber was super intuitive, we literally didn't have to ask for anything. Loved the experience!!!
