El Padrino JP | Mexican | Hot Springs Village

Went there for taco Tuesday. They have great chips and fresh homemade salsa. All their food is great and comes out to the table very fast. But the best is the lovely waitress named Anna. If I lived here , I would be hitting this place maybe twice a week.

We have lived in Hot Springs for over 4yrs and this is by far the best Mexican food in all of our area! The best part is this is a Christian owned business! They earned our loyalty!

Excellent Mexican food and pleasant environment. Waitress was very friendly and efficient.
I ordered the Special Dinner, I didnt read the description all the way through and didn't realize you get 2 huge platters of food, so you better be hungry if you opt for that. But every thing was delicious. I will definitely eat here again

Still searching for a good Mexican food restaurant.

I was seated promptly and my drink border was taken immediately, along with a bowl of crispy chips and salsa. The chips were perfect. Not too thick or thin. The salsa was good, slightly spicy. I have a very wimpy mouth when it comes to spice and this was lovely.

I ordered the combination #1 plate and asked for 2 cheese enchiladas. That was not what I received. I received two ground beef enchiladas instead, a ground beef taco, and rice.

Since this was my first time eating here, I didn't return it. The wrong item wasn't something I disliked so I figured this can gove me a good taste of their food. Also, the server was challenging for me to understand.

The food was okay. The food was warm, but unlike most other mexican restaurants, the plate wasn't hot, let alone warm.

The server checked on me for my drink refill and his timing was well timed. He didn't check on me to the point of being nuisance.

Overall, the food was mediocre, but it was edible. Service overall was okay. Getting the order wrong was a big error, vut his service otherwise was good.

I would give this restaurant a second chance.

We’re honestly not the type of people who go out to eat much, so we were a little hesitant picking a spot while passing through on a long trip but we decided to take the gamble, and wow, we’re so glad we did.
Everything was seriously impressive. The shrimp, steak, and chicken were all cooked perfectly and seasoned so well tons of flavor in every bite. The food came out fast, fresh, and hot, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming.
Definitely a 10/10 experience. We’d stop here again in a heartbeat. They were also friendly to our doggies and gave them a treat no photos because it was so good. We ate it too fast.

Food was good. Service was kind of lacking. The waiter we did have was pleasant when he was available. Place was slow and we didnt know if it was seat your self or wait to be seated, ended up taking over 5 minutes to get someone's attention to get us seated. Same thing happened when it was time to get the check. Over all the food was delicious and I am glad we went, just wish there was better service.

The waiter got aggravated due to our dinners having sour cream and guacamole PRIOR to ordering we told him we didn’t want them on anything. After he fixed the order he took it upon himself to take out 18% of our money owed.

He was rude.
We patronize ( 4-12 )that place weekly, may have to have different waiter/waitress. I will say the waitress we’ve had over and over had never been ugly!!!!!!!

Came here for a quick lunch with some workmates. Tacos were delicious, delivered quickly, and prices reasonable. Wait staff were friendly and helpful.
