Glad we found Cafe Kahlo at the beginning of our trip. Cafe Kahlo is truly authentic food you’d find in Mexico City. Their offerings include items not specifically found in most Mexican restaurants. We ordered:
- CHILAQUILES: Not your typical chilaquiles found in Mexican restaurants in American cities. Their combination/layers of tortilla, salsa, and queso fresco is perfectly balance. The side cecina (think carne asada) was very flavorful!

This is genuinely one of the greatest restaurants I have ever been to. Incredible food, incredible waiter, loved the cozy feel of the booths. Could not have picked a better place for brunch. Added bonus, free parking across the street. I had the Power Bowl with a side of tortillas and extra crispy potatoes!!
