The food is delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is inviting. My only complaint was the music is too loud. Difficult to converse when you can't hear each other. The last time I was there we asked for the music to be turned down. Of course they were more than happy to accommodate our request. Thank you!

Not sure why they have anything but a 5 star based upon our experience. My wife and I ate there at an obscure time (3:00 in the afternoon) and the food was AMAZING! We are visiting from Oklahoma and have eaten at multiple restaurants in the Hot Springs area the last couple of days and Cotija has BY FAR been the best!!!! I got the Pollo Loco Tapatio and it was delicious. The salsa is a little different than what I am typically used to with a bit of “smokey” taste, but was still fantastic. Service was fantastic and price was very reasonable! Do your self a favor and give it a shot.

A small cheese dip to go is apparently a 4oz cup for 5.99,Not 8 oz. This is half the size of most small cheese dips at other Mexican restaurants.

A great place to eat! The food was delicious and the service was great.
Not my favorite, service was good. Salsa tastes like a mix of taco Bell sauce and Pace picante, cheese dip was average and a little bland. Beans looked and tasted like they were out of a can. The chicken in the molcajete was thin and extremely dry, the beef was good, the shrimp were the tiniest shrimp you can buy, they were baby shrimp, but there seemed to be a lot of them. The decor was a confusing mix of stereotypical Mexican furniture, random plants, outdated booths, some gigantic wine glasses with fake air plants in them (which i suggest they move or F-26 in place bc they could be a hazard to the customers).

Every Sunday evening take out ritual. However, recently the consistency of product is anything but. The salsa seems to have been watered down and the food is not as good as it has been. Sadly, I think we're gonna to move our ritual elsewhere.

Very good food. Fajitas Chihuahua, street tacos were amazing! They even had a child's size ranchero special! Server was super friendly and attentive. Normally we do take out and it's just as good!
Food was excellent! Perfect spices to taste up the food. Not to much and not to little. 3 trips and I will be back

Service was pretty good. The food was mostly average. The atmosphere and look of the place was cookie cutter cheapish Mexican dining establishment. Pretty boring and the same as 80% of the other Mexican places.
