Cotija Mexican Restaurant

The food is delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is inviting. My only complaint was the music is too loud. Difficult to converse when you can't hear each other. The last time I was there we asked for the music to be turned down. Of course they were more than happy to accommodate our request. Thank you!

Not sure why they have anything but a 5 star based upon our experience. My wife and I ate there at an obscure time (3:00 in the afternoon) and the food was AMAZING! We are visiting from Oklahoma and have eaten at multiple restaurants in the Hot Springs area the last couple of days and Cotija has BY FAR been the best!!!! Not my favorite, service was good. Salsa tastes like a mix of taco Bell sauce and Pace picante, cheese dip was average and a little bland. Beans looked and tasted like they were out of a can. The chicken in the molcajete was thin and extremely dry, the beef was good, the shrimp were the tiniest shrimp you can buy, they were baby shrimp, but there seemed to be a lot of them.
