Gozen Japan House Hot Springs

While the atmosphere is a little basic, the music is chill, the place is quiet, and the food is delicious, plentiful and well priced! The rice and egg bowl with choice of protein is easily 2 meals and absolutely fantastic! The employees are smiling and helpful. And they have hot sake! Do yourself a favor and step in.

We were only in town for one night so asked the man at the front desk of the Embassy Suites where he would go for dinner. He gave several recommendations, including this little local spot. We chose it because it sounded good and the menu looked reasonably priced. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Inside, it has a vague Japanese theme but was clearly a diner or something similar in its former life. It was a fun vibe. The staff was friendly and patient while we decided what to order. In the end we got the steamed buns as an appetizer along with ramen, chicken hibachi, and a noodle dish. Everything was very good.

Visiting hot Hot Springs for a couple days and stopped in for dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. I'd definitely go back!

Good food, good portions. The dine-in is nice, not like one of those places where you just get a takeout container and a bottled drink. We had the hibachi, I preferred the noodles over the rice. Would eat here again.

The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I are here on our honeymoon and I have been craving sushi and this really hit the spot. You go and order at the counter and they will have it out for you in no time and bring it to your table. Definitely recommend for all you sushi loving people. My husband is a picky eater and really enjoyed his food as well. 😊

We both had hibachi and my daughter also had dumplings. The food was freshly prepared and very flavorful. The only downsides are that Gozen only carries Pepsi products and the iced tea is powdered Lipton. Overall, highly recommend!
