Don't let the unadorned exterior put you off. The interior is clean and nice. Moreover, the food is quite good--as good as any Chinese restaurant in Kansas City. I particularly like the Chicken with Mixed Vegetables.. it's served in a lovely white sauce.

I rated it a 3 based off the chicken lettuce wraps, crab rangoons, and the fried dumplings
Chicken was good and lots of flavor just I didn’t get much lettuce for the wraps.. it was only enough for one.
Crab rangoons were not filled with filling at all…. They were mainly the just wontons
And the dumplings were soggy but tolerable.

Typical Americanized Chinese food. I ordered double cooked pork, lemon chicken, some duck dish, and Mapo tofu. I have never seen a double cooked pork using Chinese barbecue pork in it. It’s supposed to be sliced pork belly with that tasty fat cap. The lemon chicken was actually chicken Katsu slices, which is something I typically see in Japanese cuisine. The duck was OK.
