A great place with some awesome BBQ!! I had the sampler with a couple of sides. The coleslaw was great!

I would give this place 7 stars if I could! We had the barn sampler, turkey sandwich, and rib plate Fresh cut fries! Everything was delish, 0 complaints, Debbie our server, and a fellow buckeye was AWESOME! you could buy the bbq sauce and rubs for $6.50 which I did! we preferred the sweet bbq sauce the best. original had a little bite and was good also. We almost went back a 2nd night on our 3 day trip to the area! Triple D took us there and it didn't disappoint. They have been in business 97 yrs and that says just about all you need to know!

Little Ole diner atmosphere with great BBQ. We had the sliced beef and sliced pork sandwiches with fries. It was fantastic. We couldn't pass up the peach cobbler a la mode for dessert and we took some to go as well as blackberry cobbler too. Our three pups even got bones for later. Debbie was a doll and took great care of us. We will be back for sure next time we visit.

Had the special dry rubbed ribs. This place has great no frills BBQ. Ribs pulled apart nicely. The sauce is perfectly seasoned with the right amount of spice.

History in this place is beyond compare. Waitresses are real sweet yet somewhat sassy. If you ask what types of beer do you have you better not order an orange Fanta!
Fries cut perfectly, beef ribs are #1 top notch delicious, let’s talk Cole slaw, lightly sweet-just a touch, lightly spicy-just a touch, it acts like it’s creamy but it’s not,🤤 made there and is by far best I’ve ever had. Without a doubt a must stop in Hot Springs and worth making a trip to get here.

Grew up in Hot Springs, my favorite place to eat when I visit. When I’m in town I eat there at least 2-3 times.
Even after being sold to new owner a few years ago, the food is still the same yummy food I crave when back in Dallas.
Chopped beef, slaw, and fresh cut fries…wow!

I always stop at McClard’s when I visit Hot Springs. Their food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Mmmm some good bar b que here the ribs are mmmm meat just fell off the bone and if your here you have to order the tamale BBQ it is the s.... It's so good , a mom and pops restaurant a must stop if in HOT springs

It’s really went down since the Mclards sold out

Ordered ribs with beans and coleslaw. Coleslaw was chopped not shedded and had very little to no mayo. Beans were ok, I’ve never been a fan of baked beans anyway, although it was very seasoned. Husband got the tamale spread which was interesting to me. I’ve had authentic tamales and Mcclard’s had a very different take on their tamale. I think they put a ton of seasoning. My ribs were good, a bit dry and I should have asked for sauce on the side because whew! It was a bit spicy and made my nose drip 😂 service was good. We also ordered a vanilla milkshake which came in a cool souvenir cup. It was a nice way to cool my tongue (I know, I’m a baby). The one thing was very off putting to me was the smell inside the restaurant. The whole place smelled like frying oil so maybe an issue with ventilation. The bbq sauces on the table were good too, we liked the sweet one best.
Friend got loaded fries which were good.
