My husband and I both ordered the short ribs. My food was good but his was terrible. Very odd to say the least.

Sunday Brunch at The Arlington does not disappoint. When I asked for a small slice of prime rib at the carving station the carving attendant was urged to give me a second slice but I assured them that it was exactly what I wanted. The bacon stands out and is cooked exactly the way I like it-- crispy, not too floppy, lots of curves. There are lots of options including fresh crepes, an omelet station, prime rib, waffles, french toast, salmon, more than I can list. We have been a few times and have really enjoyed our experiences. The live music by Jacob Flores adds to the experience. Staff is excellent, we had a wonderful time and will be back.

After planning a special night out, we were sadly disappointed. Our waitress started out by pouring our water all over. Then said she would go get rolls. About 10 minutes she returns to take our order. Brings my drink and spills it. Makes a joke about it. Says she will go get our rolls. After 1 hour we are still setting with nothing in front of us and no waitress anywhere. Finally the kitchen help comes out with food which is under cooked and nearly warm. Missing the soup and still no rolls. Waitress finally shows up after half way done. Only a small apology and no adjustments made.

The food was very lackluster and took 40+ minutes to come out - the waitress apologized profusely for how long it was taking several times - I felt bad for her, honestly. The ribeye was thin and very fatty - like poor choice in cut fatty, not regular ribeye fatty - and the potatoes were oddly sweet. The dinner's saving grace was the chocolate ganache cake. Like, don't get anything else, honestly. It was warm, chocolatey, rich; but, also came with a berry sauce and some type of cream that cut through all the fat and richness beautifully. It was so good I was tempted to order another through room service.

Most of the food was subpar and lukewarm. Prime rib from the carving table was inedible, tough and looked old and dried out. Lox, cheese selection and fruit was good. Benedict had a nice flavor for being in a chaffing dish. Bacon sausage good. Baked Salmon was dry and broccoli was cold. Expected much more for the price. Line was too long for the crepe station. Waffles looked good. Dessert pumpkin cheesecake tasted like previously frozen. They did have a large selection of food but it didn't feel elevated at all.

The ambiance is nice and what you would expect from a historic hotel. The live A.M. music was fun. Our server was friendly and attentive. It's odd that chicken masala and pasta was offered but no scrambled eggs on a brunch menu. Eggs Benedict was the only egg option. It was also disappointing the homemade donuts were not offered. The food is always good but pricy. $100+ for two without alcohol.

Our party of four truly enjoyed our meals and the attention of our server. I had the prime rib special for the evening. It was delicious, although could have been served at a warmer temperature. Afterwards we enjoyed after dinner drinks on the balcony. Overall, a lovely evening.

Had higher expectations for the dining options! Considering the place is dilapidated & moldy I'd thought they might put those items top of list to update apparently not. Food was ok temps.. steak was not filet mignon. Better than what a wedding reception has but that's yhe best analogy I got.

Fantastic environment, missed having a pianist that is normally playing. Wendy, our waitress, was punctual, attentive, and deserved her 35% tip.

We booked here for an anniversary, while staying at the hotel. We asked for a private, quiet location - when we first arrived, we were escorted to a table that fit that request perfectly. Next, primarily through Wendy and other members of the dining room and bar staff, we had an excellent experience - top shelf. The big focus here on Friday night is the seafood buffet - we had just about every seafood that you could expect: oysters, crawdads, catfish, shrimp (several ways), crab, salmon rolls, cod, salmon, scallops; there was also a good salad bar and outstanding dessert buffet. Our drinks came quickly and the one I ordered (double Gray Goose with specific mixture) was simply one of the best ever, anywhere. The food, service, drink, cleanliness, setting - what one would hope for at a place like the Arlington; it met and exceeded all of these in our experience. Truly a gem. We also had the breakfast buffet there - same great service, cocktails, and food. Standard maintained and carried over from dinner.

I love the beauty and cleanliness of the Arlington. The room was clean the ac kept us cool. Taking a shower with the thermal water from the hot springs felt amazing!! The staff was very helpful and attentive. They have a lovely pool and hot tub to enjoy! Bring your pet, bring your kids! We had a beautiful view from our room. The Arlington is right in the heart of Hot Springs, so there all kinds of things to see and do within walking distance. If you are looking to get away, or want to check out a great place this is it! You will not be disappointed!!

Truly one of the best dining experiences my wife and I had in Hot Springs during our 4-day visit for our 29th anniversary. Delicious food, and plenty of it. Wonderful wait staff and servers; very pleasant! Nice live music in the background. Highly recommended.

From the ease of reserving online, Izzy's great service, a variety of delicious food, and music by Jacob Flores, the whole experience made for a lovely Sunday brunch for my husband and me.
