We ate dinner here last night. We have been to some great bbq restaurants over the years but this place took 1st place. We had the pork dinner and it was Great. Lots of lean pork with a great bun. The bbq sauce was also great. Not too hot and not too vinegary. Even though we ordered a to go meal from the wrong area all the employees were very accomodating. The fries were great and coleslaw perfect and the okra was also wonderful. The prices were the best we have seen in some time. Do yourself a favor and give them a chance. You will be just as happy with your meal as we were. Thank you, Blue Ember Smokehouse.

The staff was very nice. But the food was cold the side servings were all different for the same price. The brisket was cold like it was from that morning. I hope they get it together. There's not any good smokehouses around here.

TL;DR: Grest BBQ in general. Treat yourself to a loaded baked potato 🥔.
Got a bit of a split opinion here, my wife loves the chicken and I prefer the pulled pork. We both however love the apple BBQ sauce.
We both however like them with the fully loaded baked potato 🥔 which comes with what looks like half a cup of sour cream, some butter and. A generous dash of cheese.
A small note on the unclear pricing of the potatoes: A loaded potato is priced the same as the meats above it if you get it with the meat. I haven't verified, but I believe the $4.99 price is for just the loaded potato.
They also serve burnt ends which sounds delicious considering how amazing this place smells.
Atmosphere is clean and slightly upscale for a BBQ joint. The only issue I have is that the lights near the booth seating is too low, if the tables are arranged right, anyone over 6' is likely to catch their heads on them.
I'm looking forward to picking up a pound of meat to take home at some point. Even the Burnt ends at $26/pound isn't bad if you split it 4 ways and make some slaw.

I'll just start off saying I've worked and done restaurants (BBQ) specifically. Walk in 6 o'clock ish 1/2 lb of smoked sausage,Mac cheese, two loaded potatoes. Place was dirty with food trays left out on tables tables needing clean plus . Food was horrible sausage was old and rubbish. Mac and cheese was old cold left out and so was the potatoes if the BBQ can't be good and fresh and is old why serve it . You'd want good bussissnes right ? I've worked BBQ specifically restaurants in my years and food should be always served fresh and made fresh for customers no matter BBQ or sides ! I know BBQ isn't something late at night you can pop off the smoker just right then and there but you can make sure it isn't old or at least keep it fresh and in warmers plus the sides you can control . All I can say is y'all can do better than this ! 30$ well waisted and won't be back ! The very first time we had blue embers was fantastic but make this our last do better than this blue embers !

We have eaten here many times. The options are many so I typically go with the Special Ops platter to get the variety. The meats have a great smokey flavor and tenderness that you want in BBQ. A variety of great flavors and heat with their sauces. The issue for me is so many great sides to choose from, but you can’t go wrong with the Baked Beans or Mac-n-Cheese.
