Needed to find a new barbecue spot in town. My coworker recommended this place! I got the chopped pork sandwich. The meat was good and flavorful. The baked beans were extremely delicious. However, their barbecue sauce tastes like Kraft and I hate Kraft. I’d order again but use my own sauce.
We carry out the ribs most often. We love the ribs. The coleslaw and beans aren't so good. We also take out pulled meat for sandwiches and love it. The neat is always pretty good. The sides need some work.
I have visited this barbecue restaurant many times over the years. It used to be the premier spot to get barbecue but, in my opinion it has been overtaken by some of the newer establishments in town. The meats don't seem as fresh or simply as good as they were in the past and I'm not really sure what I would attribute that to. The service has always been good and friendly and I would go here if somebody wanted to go but it would not be my first choice for barbecue in...
