I've been to o'charly's in Illinois and the food and service was excellent !.. but me and my family went to this one in Jonesboro, Arkansas expecting the same experience..boy was I wrong!.. we got there about 11:45 for lunch and it was not busy at all the waitress was slow waiting on us ,slow at bringing the rolls and drinks - our drinks where ice tea and it looked watered down..we ordered our lunches and finally got them after an hour and they were cold !.. 2 of us ordered the cornmeal catfish dinners _ they were NOT cornmeal but some kind of batter???.. very disappointing!..If this restaurant is part of the O'charly's franchise or independently owned it's giving the franchise name a bad reputation and by other reviews I've read we weren't the only ones that had a bad experience here..

Great service but the steak nachos were terrible. Couple of teaspoons of overdone tiny pieces of meat. We paid $2.00 for a little extra queso. Katlin is great at the bar so we left with the food and then threw it away at home. I called the manager who was nice so we will try something different next time.

O my word! Just tried the new appetizer..popcorn shrimp and crab..the crab cakes were perfectly seasoned and the shrimp was so tender! Y'all need to go by and try them for yourselves..

We use to love eating here. The menu has changed there is no longer a kids menu. Prices have increased that's OK but the quality of the food has changed dramatically everything we ordered was over cooked and tasted bland we have been long time customers but we will never go back and do not recommend it

Food was okay but when delivered they were out of items. There could be no substitutions (for the multiple items) because we had placed our order already even though they did not have the items (again multiple) we requested. Then we were given a coupon to make up for this but it was already 2 week expired.

Absolutely DREADFUL! Simply DEPLORABLE!!!!!!! All-around UNACCEPTABLE ? We were greeted with snares from the staff that was congregating near the end of the bar when we walked in. It was obvious that it was 1 o' clock and they were over the lunch rush and ready to relax. We were seated after the hist went on a short diatribe about where she could possibly seat us since she wasnt sure what servers were still taking tables. At that point, she should have just told us we were bothering them because that's surely how it felt. After being seated, our drinks and bread came. The famous rolls that you aren't supposed to be able to cut through could have blacked an eye. We ordered spinach dip as an appetizer and the chips were burnt. Meanwhile, the dip was lukewarm. We asked for fresh bread and chips. The server, who couldn't have been the least bit bothered that she had a job to do, brought more rolls but they were darker than the previous. She said, "I picked out the best ones we had." I asked her for some that went overcooked and she was visibly irritated. A manager came by to tell us that rolls and chips would be coming out for us soon. Our entrees were delicious! The balsamic glazed chicken was light, yet perfectly seasoned. The balsamic reduction was perfect consistency and quite tasty. The mac n cheese was blah but was obviously old. You could tell that it is really good when it's hot. The seafood combo platter was overflowing with food. The service was awful and I spent a large amount of time thirsty waiting for water but the entrees were yummy. (You can see the difference in color of the chips)

I ate at O'Charleys Friday April 1st, 2022 at 2p.m. and this is no April Fools joke. My wife and I ordered the Mississippi Catfish plate along with fried shrimp and chicken tenders. We were informed about 10 mins. later by the waiteress that we had to wait an addiontal 15 mins. that the fish had to thaw out. I said "Fine, we will wait". The 2 plates arrived about 15 mins. (on time} later. The plates were full of food. We each got 3 peices of Catfish, 5 fried and breaded shrimp and 3 chicken tenders and French Fries. I picked up a peice of the Catfish filet and the grease dripped off of it. It looks like that the cook went from the fryer to the plate. The fish was still hot, so I ate one of the chicken tenders, which was good and not greasy. I ate the fish after pulling the breading off. I was not happy with the fish dinner and started to send it back, but I was hungry, so I ate it. I'm not sure, but I expect that the fried shrimp was reheated. The breading was real hard. My wife ate the chicken tenders and we got a to go box and brought the rest home. I gave the waiteress a good tip because the service was really good. It wasn't her fault on the food. They also give a 10% off for Veterans. I found this out after I got the bill and did not want to wait for her to change the bill. You have to let them know you are a Vereran before you get the bill. I will not say that I won't eat there again. This was my first time and I may give them another chance, but I will tell them berofe I order what happened to me.

Stopped here passing through to go back to Florida. Never been so we thought we would try something different. Complimentary bread was good and fresh. Similar to Texas Roadhouse without the cinnamon butter. I ordered chicken tenders, which they seem to advertise as their specialty, they were okay. They were pretty overcooked. I also ordered mashed sweet potatoes and they were somewhat dry and lackluster. The ranch dressing is pretty bland as well.. The sweet tea was tasty and the service was good, but overall I wouldn't say it was worth the price.
Amazing staff!! Always friendly and they make sure the customer leaves happy!! Management is usually walking around to make sure things are running smoothly, keep it up!!????

I feel like this place is kind of hit or miss. We stopped passing through on our way home from Branson. We were sat immediately and our waitress who was VERY SWEET got our drink order. A group of about 6-7 people came in a were sat after us. We ordered our meal and the waitress put it in and came to take the large groups order. My fiancés soup came out promptly. We were confused how a larger group (there were only three of us) got their food first. Our waitress returned and asked if we had gotten our food yet. We informed her that we hadn’t, she left to check on it. The manager came out and informed us our order was put in but somehow got bumped off the screen but she had it in now and put a rush on it. We order the steak, ribs, and chicken tender combo to share. She offered a salad and asked our little one if she wanted some corn dog nuggets. (She refused anything at the time we ordered) our food comes out. Steak was over cooked and warm at best ribs and chicken were lukewarm as well. And our daughters corn dog nuggets were still frozen in the middle. It takes A LOT for us to complain. We had already been there well over an hour and the food was not at all up to par. The server and manager were overly apologetic which we know it’s not their fault my any means. Our server and the manager were GREAT. I give them a 10 out of 10. Overall experience could have been better. We would have been more open to them fixing our order but we had already waited long enough for it. Would consider giving it another try if we ever come back through.

The service was great! We were seated immediately with a full parking lot. We did have to wait about 25-30 minutes to receive our food, but the server continued to check on us during this time.We ordered one of their combination plates (ribs, steak and chicken tenders) and shared it between my husband and I. We also ordered a kids meal for our son. Ordering this way was very cost efficient.We did have to send back the steak due to being Rare instead of our ordered Medium, but it was a quick fix and my husband said it tasted delicious.

Our server, however very nice, smelled of cigarette smoke (not appetizing) and was not easily available for refills, etc. The server did have two other tables.I got the combo appetizer with cheese wedges, potatoes and chicken strips. The cheese wedges were good as they were hot, but the potatoes are coagulated and the chicken strips room temperature. A disappointing lunch with my friend, have had much better here.
