I will say I miss being able to have lunch here often. Happen to be in the area and got to grab lunch. Had the chopped beef dinner with baked beans and tomato relish. It was as delicious as i remembered. The sweet and spicy sauce just pushes the flavor of the beef over the top. If you can have bread, make sure to get the jumbo sandwich meal. I have always had a favorite BBQ place, but now they have a new contender. The food was flavorful and smokey like good BBQ should be. Definitely will be back.I had the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad.

The wife and I usually go on a Friday when they have fried okra! And if she's out of wine we kill two birds with one stone and go to the liquor store just up the road! We usually each get the Jumbo special with 2 sides and a drink. And it's plenty of food for both of us. I would put the Smoke Shack up against just about any Q place in Memphis and beyond. It's that good!! Try it for yourself, you'll see!
