“Really great place to get some Q. Great atmosphere, good music, friendly staff and clean restaurant.Food was hot, fresh and on point. Tried the Al Capone sandwich and slaw definitely worth it. Will be back to try out what we missed this time. O and the pickles are pretty good too.“
“My sons and I stopped in for dinner when in Cotter for a day of fishing. I have travelled extensively, and seek out local BBQ wherever it is found. This place holds up to some of the best places I've been yet. I had the sliced brisket and smoked sausage, while my sons had brisket, pulled pork, and ribs between them. The brisket is Texas style and succulent. It reminded me of some of my favorites in the San Marcos/Lockhart area. Smoked sausage has a great rich flavor and a pleasant bite. Everything was well executed with excellent flavor. Beyond that, they are warm, welcoming hosts. Gassville and Cotter are small towns who also have a lot of out-of-town visitors due to the many outdoor pursuits available in the area, especially trout fishing. Every guest who entered the door while we were there, locals or visitors, ourselves included, were welcomed as if they were beloved friends who were coming for supper, and there was not a hint of insincerity about it. An honest happy place with fantastic BBQ.“
“Get the pulled pork sandwich! So delicious. Anyone complaining about pricing needs to realize that this is HOME MADE and HAND MADE food. If you want something cheap go get the soy slop from McDonald’s across the street. If you want genuinely good food made with care drive on up here. This stuff is worth every penny and as a TEXAN I can’t make better pork and neither could my brother, an award winning bbq cook. Great place, great people, and will be back!!“
