The server was extremely nice, but the food was not. The fish came out. It was not done when we sent it back for them to replace it. All they did was put the same fish back in the grease and cooked it harder. We had already put hot sauce and lemon on the fish because it looked done that was sent back and they just put it back in the grease and reserved it to us.

Friendly service, Jewel was very nice and helpful. It was quiet even though the restaurant was full. Very casual, nice atmosphere. The food arrived quickly. We had baked oysters, red shrimp broiled and large peel and eat shrimp, all delicious! They have a good selection of beer and cocktails also.

I went to get a 3 piece fish basket is $13.99 and the lady charged me $14.99. Made it a $1 more. Then I was charged $1.00 for Curb Side-To go. I kept telling the young lady that she charged me a $1 more. I got a side salad and dressing was water down vinegar Like no substance. The fish was okay. Then, when she finally saw, I kept asking why I got charged an extra $1 on the fish. She apologized. When someone come to restaurant/bar and have no knowledge about an extra fee, that’s not good business practice.
My total all together was $19.68

They have great service and very clean restaurant. The menu is well rounded for all types of guests. But there seafood is were it's at. We love the alligator and coconut shrimp.

I usually have a really good experience at this restaurant, but tonight was not so much. I had chicken gumbo and the first bowl. The rice was really hard. Second boat. It just tasted off. My husband tasted it and said there’s something wrong with it. And now I’m got a really upset stomach! I think I probably need to take the rest of it home with me. Thought I could get it home, but I may need to take it to the health department to get tested. Really not feeling good! This is not typical of their food. It is usually really good. I’ve never had a bad experience before. I did tell the server I was going to take it home and try to cook it some more.

I understand inflation is at an all time high. But 23 US dollars for this portion of food that includes the driest grits on the planet is insane. Flavor is good but I’ve been here multiple times and never had this experience.

UPDATE: Made it back home with a piece of dry and rubbery fish not on a sandwich no bread just a piece of fish with nothing not even lemon. The cheese dip was also refrigerator cold

Strange place…. Wanted a filet o fish like McDonald’s but a bit better so found their menu on google which takes you to a random website that’s not theirs, so I click the only menu attributed to their restaurant that can be found on Google elsewhere and see a fish sandwich for $13.99 and a cheese dip which I called and ordered. Show up and they say your fish sandwich that was listed on the only menu online for $14 is $32 despite me having absolutely zero way knowing that a $14 dollar on their menu is now more than $32. When I brought this to their attention and asked what they’ll do to fix this for future guests, they just stared at me with a blank stare, said sorry and gave me the fish sandwich for $6 off.

I live next door and these people keep loud music playing outside at all hours disturbing the elderly residents in the attached building. They refuse to turn it off and you can hear it inside. It's like nails on a chalkboard after a while. I will continue to do reviews until this changes.

The waitress was nice and so was the lady who I assume was the owner but our food was terrible. I got snapper and my wife got mahi mahi. The meat was very tough and over cooked. It was also way over priced at 32.99 for a piece of fish and French fries. If you’re going to charge that much don’t then charge me for a cup of honey mustard. Again they were very nice but just very poor food quality.
