“We were in town for the weekend and had the opportunity to have dinner for the first time last night. We arrived at 4:45pm to a very full parking lot on a Saturday. Our instant thoughts were, it must be good; we were not disappointed. We were seated almost instantly. After given the a choice between the dining room or the bar area, we chose the dining room, which was spacious and open. The tables were amplly spaced to give patrons and wait staff room to maneuver. Enough about the decor, let's get to the food and service. Penny, our estute server, was prompt in collecting our beverage and appetizer choices. The fresh out of the oven house bread came out quickly to our delight. For our main courses we chose the bacon-wrapped filet and the hickory-smoked ribeye, which were both grilled to perfection and excellently seasoned. Our side dishes of asparagus, baked potatoe and grilled shrimp were also excellent. All of this food saddly left us with no room for the cheesecake dessert. Which we'll have to try the next time we are in the area. We we're also happy to have been approached by the owner to check on our experience, to which we lauded Penny's great service and the excellent food.”

“Tiny little place with some amazing coffee! Stopped here when we noticed it while getting gas on the way home from vacation. Coffee has an excellent flavor and the owner roasts the beans himself. My iced vanilla latte was perfect (not too sweet or watery) and my husband got a hazelnut latte with an extra shot and was very satisfied. You can taste the coffee perfectly, and it’s very smooth. Highly recommend!”

They were tremendously busy today when I went in, and I’m sorry that I didn’t get her name, but the young girl with red hair and glasses was working hard to take everyone’s order and get things out as quickly as possible. She did so with a smile on her face And a great attitude. One of the many reasons I come to Burls, and will always come back, is how friendly they are. This young lady exemplified that perfectly.”
